  • What's the price range for an animation like this? (You don't need to give me the exact amount ;)

  • @kainfury depends how much money your client has, and if you are their only option for doing 3d work. if you are working for a rich guy who does not know any other 3d artists, you could easily get $3,000 for an animation like this. but, if you are doing a job online through a site like elance, where there is tons of competition, you might only get $300 - $500.

  • @MrShawqe lulwut?

  • @maskedone2 he said 'bad attitude', which i assume is a reference to the flight dynamics term for a vehicle's orientation about it's center of mass. i think he's going to crash his plane.

  • @dave5264 I concur, we should try to stop him

  • wow, amazing stuff.

  • @onjoFilms The line "This is weird wild stuff" is a catchphrase that Dana Carvey used for his impression of Johnny Carson on Saturday Night Live.

  • the colors are a bit cartoonish and the glass reflection is too strong but otherwise very nice

  • @DanFrederiksen the finished rendering looked a bit different. i appended the link into the description.

  • @dave5264 looks nice. the sky is a bit ominous.

for grass I use photos of lawns in appropriate angles and illumination and then camera map them on object.

    mainly works for flat lawns
