I saw his latest paintings a couple of years ago at a gallery show in Japan. It showed many works included illustrations of characters from Gatchaman. The gallery show was really worth it and I didn't have to pay a single yen since my aunt already had tickets for the two of us. If I could, I'd like to see another art exhibit of Amano's work again.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that you had posted a video of Amano's work. He's probably my favorite living illustrator of video game concept art or anime (apart from Miyazaki). Thanks for making this.

And the Steve Roach music reminds me of the FF scores circa the late '90s. Beautiful.
