Don't hate me: commercial frozen corn is ALWAYS parboiled - not raw.
Am experimenting with freezing raw corn, but results are inconclusive. A county cooperative agent told me years ago, you couldn't freeze raw corn cuz the enzymes would continue to break it down.
So far, she seems to be right, but again, my results aren't conclusive. Maybe next yr.
