an easy way to destroy a superscarab for the achievement is to make any army of fully upgraded warthogs since they are 1 population and make as many as possible and/or upgrade the mac blast or something and blast the superscarab until it dies

im not sure if it might be correct but if you read halo ghost of onyx one of the spartan III is a guy named adam, but he gets needlered and dies

Best to do this on co-op and much better to spawn Adam when a civilian crowd it running past. The other civs can take the brunt of teh shots.

kill super scarab with upgraded cobras and maybe some scorpions. I got lucky and he never shot at me, he was workin his way through walls to get to my base and i had 5 cobras locked down to each side RANT

, i cant remember if i used scorps, i remember i useld to love em, but cobras have really been proving themselves lately.

Ok.

The Super Scarab is very easy. Take out all the power nodes so that the head moves very slowly. Put cobras on either side of it and them shoot at the scarab. Make sure they are upgraded. You might need 1 wolverine to take out air-enimes and some marines (grenandes work well)

What i did was got a bunch of either scorpions or cobras, fully upgraded, and then placed most of them on one side of the head and about 3 others on the other side. Keep the one side with the most troops shooting and as the head gets closer use your other troops to lure the head away, rinse and repeat, and remember to destroy the nodes.

Very easy, You can even use a large amount of tanks. If you are doing it on heroic and want it done fast, letforge and the marines and rhinos you start with defend your base and have 1 advanced reactor. Now, just make the rest supply pads, and make a tank army. Upgrade to tanks special attack. Now hide the tanks up to the right of the scarab when it turns your way (where u find the black box) and just keep MAC gunning it and pressing the Y button.

pick one of the bigger maps, then get the ones near you and then make only supply pads and one or two ways to make units,

supplies will come fast and you can attack their bases while earning supplies.
