Great Job!Its crazy how many people on YT have Jem's, especially people attempting this solo. How did you afford this I saw some going on ebay for 1500 to 2000.

@codythunder this is a fake jem.. 90% of the jems on youtube are fakes, the real ibanez jems are made in japan which cost around $2000. this is probably the #1 most counterfeited guitar in the world theres so many fakes out there ibanez came out with a model to compete with the fakes and its called the jem555 they are all made in china and are poorly made the ones crafted in japan are the real deal and come with authenticity papers.. you can spot a fake in the details such as the inlays

@RandyFoxKiller Hey GC might sell you a fake one lol. I wouldn't put it pest them. Anyways yeah I've seen kits around to build your own gem, or you can just buy the body or neck. But Still beautiful looking guitar even if its a fake, or Chinese made one.

@codythunder actually this one might be a real one i took a closer look at the inlays.. if its fake its one of the most accurate ones out there. but a good way to tell is if the handle size is a little off and the most obvious is when you see dotted inlays mized in with the tree of life inlays.. older jem models did have dotted inlays. if you want a real jem never and i mean NEVER buy online unless its a reputable place. guitar centers wont sell you a fake for $2K

@RobSchneeberger Nah, I own a '98 Jem 7WH signed by Steve, Satch & Billy Sheehan. I love it, but the neck makes me play 2 sterile & I don't like how it feels when I bend hard. So it sits on my axe rack w/ all my other guitars. I prefer a rounder, less flat neck like my Ernie ball EVH. It's like an old strat neck worn in like Ed's. But hey, ya gotta use what ya got right? 2 me, Ibanez = far 2 sterile playing. Even my JS1200 Satriani axe. I love that axe though, it's closer to a strat neck 4 me.
