It became a serious problem in one particular bar where several incidents were recorded, and eventually Dahmer was banned when someone saw him crushing pills to put into a drink. I think it's fair to assume that when someone gets thrown out of a club they arent exactly treated nicely. This part of the film is Dahmer's escalation to murder.

when he was with the guy from the knife shop he didnt want to go into the bar, it showed u a flashback to when he got banned from that bar for spiking peoples drinks, its never made clear in the movie but some of the people he was spiking ended up in a coma because of him. the bar tender saw him, figured out it had been him spiking guys n putting then im hospital so he kicked him out. hope i helped

I really wanted to see this film, but I am up to part 5 and so far its very boring, VERY inaccurate, and a little too mild. this guy was a maniac...seems to me like he is being portrayed as someone who rides the short bus. I was hoping to see a little more "gruesome" and a lot less "ambiance." Jeremy Renner is a good actor, but I dont think this role was really for him.
