A woman SHOULD direct that film, because most women would bring a sensitivity to the project that most of us men would not. And symbolically, it would simply be APPROPRIATE for a woman to direct it, because of what Steinem has fought for and achieved for women. Its the same with Lee directing "Malcolm X", which is now a classic.

Don't be ridiculous. Its very simple. If a major film is ever done about the life of GLORIA STEINEM, there are TONS of talented female directors qualified to direct it. A woman SHOULD direct that film, because most women would bring a sensitivity to the project that most of us men would not. And symbolically, it would simply be APPROPRIATE for a woman to direct it, because of what Steinem has fought for and achieved for women. Its the same with Lee directing "Malcolm X", which is now a classic.
