  • Testing aside... That is one ugly fucking gun.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 did u send it to hi point, and what did they do?

  • Wish my Hi-Point 9mm worked. Bought it new few years ago. Had constant feed Issue. Tried 6 other brands of ammo. Sent it back to Hi-Point/Beemiller. Gun returned with note saying It's working now. Gun still does not work. Had other people try it and same problem. Sent back to Hi-Point 2nd time. Same results. Spoke to Local Gunsmith. Understand it's mag lips. and/or feed ramp and/or action binding. He Says thank you Hi-Point for his trips to Cancun. Sent back 3RD time. Same Results. "Gun Forsale"

  • I have to say guys I will be buying a Hi-point on monday 140.oo buck for a 9mm sem to me that this gun is a great deal... I might not look the part but it seem to play the part

  • i still just cant get past how silly that slide on a hi point looks...kinda chunky for my taste

  • i buy nothing but hi-points i have a 9mm and a 45 both are great after polishing the feed rails and tuning the mags

  • Ok Im goin out and sell my pain in the ass glock and gonna buy 4 of these high points LOL they are obviously more reliable ;(

  • Did he say H-335? For the non-handloaders reading, that's a fairly fast rifle powder, popular for the .223, 30-30, and even the 30-06. Kaboom, indeed.

  • im going out and getting one after having seen these brutal tests i have held them and wathced reviews and i dont belive that i could get a tougher pistol let alone for the money and i would be proud to own a gun made in the state o lived in all my life truley a beast of a pistol that is quality is not pretty and its heavy but id love yo see a beretta go through thus test or a glock and se the results

  • I would honestly like to see Barnum & Bailey here do everything they did in these for videos to any other weapon, and see how it holds up. Circus clowns.

  • You know, I went on here to see the reliabilty of these guns b/c they are cheap and I was thinking about buying one. I know I will buy one now after seeing these series of videos. They made 4 videos over 30 minutes of footage before this gun finally blew up. Malfunctions are understandable, but who will actually do this with thier own weapon? Thanks for selling me on this gun. BTW, how much did Hi-Point pay you to make this video? You are thier best seller!!!

  • After all this i think you would be a fool to buy anything but a hi-point.

  • i woulda luaghed my fucking ass off if it wouldnt have blown up even with the c clamp rig haha

  • Thanks Guys. Great review. Yep, sure isn't the prettiest thing out there. But then again sometimes pretty will leave you standing. I know what I'll be buying!!!!!!!!

  • Take all these video clips, and edit them into an EPIC Hi-Point commercial!

Much love for this gun, the testers, and especially the creators... Well done!!!

  • I think NOW you should send it back to HiPoint to see if they'll warranty it LOL

  • Dang it you guys, I think you voided the warranty!

  • Guess I should buy one!

  • the serial number is on the frame, why didnt you replace the already damaged barrel?

  • I don't own a HP or have never owned one but I don'tunderstand how Barry could call these junk after everything it put up with andtill kept running. This was more of a torture test than what I've seen any Glock go through. If all I could afford was a HP, I would not feel unsafe. Besides being a little ugly and kinda clunky, you really couldn't ask much more from a pistol, especially for the money.

  • I have the 995 (very much "tacticooled" LOL) and it's a decent carbine for the money. I believe that Hi-Point's existence allows the working poor to be able to defend themselves with a low cost pistol. It is my opinion that "Saturday Night Special" bans are just a means to keep weapons out of the hands of the poor; those of whom would be the first to rise up when the SHTF.

  • ahh getting one now

  • They're cheap, ugly as hell, crudely made, and (apparently) jam prone. But damn, they sure can take a lot of abuse and keep on firing!

  • i laughed so hard when they beat the plug in the barrel and blew it up i wont disclose what happened. thank you for making my day better. i had a bad day at work and this made my day

  • Death of a Spartan...

  • I would love to see you do this same test with a glock I bet it would have the same results

  • im going to get it any way as my first gun!

  • but can it handle explosions!!!

  • I love your video, you guys are a hoot! My Wife bought me a High Point C-9 MM for Christmas and this video has proven High Point to me to be a good choice. Thanks again for your time at testing this fire arm.

  • Hi-Point you have fought the warriors battle

  • A Glock would have been dead in the first few minutes of the VERY FIRST VIDEO. :) As a personal defense and Militia arm this is a weapon that can use ANY AND ALL ammo taken off the enemy in battle. That is not the case with the euro plastic guns no matter the model. The USA was known as the land of High Powered arms and then someone convinced everyone that it was better to have a lot less in energy. The Hi-Point can handle it all. Use these vids to ID spare parts to buy. Buy more mags ASAP.

  • @Libertytreeradio i agree the people that put down a great american made firearm isnt much of a american.i own two hi points and after watching the two nons put it through hell and still fired.what moron wouldnt see this as pro advertisement.thanks guys for proving how dependable this guns actually are.

  • I wonder if this means that its +p safe?

  • @762xDevin

    its marketed as +p

  • Nice set of vids, What you have proven to me is that despite all you nay saying this gun is strong and reliable. You convinced me that 150 for 45 hi point is by far a better deal than anything but a free glock.

  • mine jammed every three or two shots

  • Goodnight, sweet Hi-Point. May a flight of angels see thee to thy rest.

Yeah, I'm definitely getting one of these. I'm going to get into reloading, and the Hi-Point is clearly a good ammo test gun. Thanks again for an amazing video.

  • only took 4 videos.... I'm buying one soon ^_^

  • that thing is so totally repairable a little bit of uct tape some jb weld and some aa wire

  • this pistol went above and beyond. I have purchased a hipoint 9mm and have over 700 rounds in it no failures to eject. I would i trust my life to it? just as much as any other man made device.

  • Bang

  • Because it has a better warranty and mine goes band everytime i pull the trigger.

  • I think that the feed lip problem causing it to jam makes people hate it. Jamming is an issue in self defense, but, if you adjust the lips, keep it clean and take care of it, whats the problem?

  • @135yota Why buy a gun that jams just to try and make it not jam then trust it to save your life? I have a Smith&Wesson M&P .45 that goes bang every time no questions asked.

  • do the same tests with a Glock and a S&W and a ruger , ide love to see the results

  • They cant shoot! I grouped every shot within 5" at 20 yards with the Hi Point C9 & bracing off like they were, I could group within 3-4", like most shooters could. I never knew about this gun until I shot my cousins & it's impressive! Some people hate the HP cause they cant get their head around a gun of this quality, at its selling price. They did the same to Taurus when they first came out & now look. Ive been shooting 40 + yrs, I own 3 glocks, 2 S&W, 3 Taurus, 2 Sig & others so I know a lil.

  • @Mix7Studio I agree, these are great guns. I myself own a Hi- Point, a 380 not a 9mm. Never had any sort of feeding issue. But about the accuracy, i was able to hit a quarter from 15 yards out, but i highly doubt i could with that gun! They put that damn thang through hell in 4 videos.... accuracy will suffer after shoving brass casings in it and popping off crazy powerful rounds! haha Anyways, Go Hi-Point, gotta fan for life now.

  • @MadMonkeyFriend go hi point is right .i own a 9mm and is far the most accurate pistol i have ever owned and maybe shot.

  • accuracy suffered? not too much since they were all center mass more or less.

  • I've watched all of your "testing" vids on this Hi point all you've done is make me all that much more happy with my purchase. I didn't spend $130 and expect a Glock but I got way more than I expected for the money and would not hesitate to buy another

  • well i dont have a highpoint pistol but i do have the 45 carbine i trust it very nice gun for the price

  • Can either of you Deliverance rejects tell us exactly what gun won't blow up if you treat it like this? After watching your videos, I still don't understand the wanton destruction of a functional firearm. Are you goofuses some kind of closet gun hating nuts???? Now that you have all the other goofuses scared to touch a gun under 1200.00, I guess your sales are up on high end pieces?

  • @LowD9mil If you'd watched all their videos you'd see they sell guns and that they were unable to remove a trigger lock so they had to cut off the trigger guard, making the guns unsellable. So they decided to see what it took to destroy one.

  • @Paganwarrior2000 No, I did not watch all videos, but a simple trigger lock can be removed by a variety of methods without destroying the gun. So either a higher level of thought was not a viable option for these two or the decision to destroy the gun was made in advance. I hope the latter is true because I would hate to think a couple of gun experts could be overcome by a simple machine.

  • @LowD9mil Not all trigger locks are created equal, but I get your point. In fairness though, they're gun dealers, not locksmiths. Either way I think we both can agree this is one impressive make of pistol. Took multiple bore obstructions to destroy it, they've sold me on one.

  • I didn't have the money to bye a nice Gun at the time I got the Hi pount C9 9mm.. when I got home I shot a box of 50 through it.. I did hafe to move the site so I could hit with it. now I'm hitting a 3" group at 25 yards.. the only thing I don't like about it is, it didn't come with a 10 round clip.. I will bye another one.. maybe a 40mm.. I do like the Gun..

  • these vids are great guys. since I've had my hi point, everyone hates on it, so I reffer them to these vids, and that normally shuts them up. I do agree with some other post of seen on these vids though, in that I would like to see these same test on something like the sigma, or a glock. mainly cause I'm considering one of the two. and it'd be nice to know how they stand up comparitivly on the durability aspect.

  • 150 bucks for a gun that can take this kind of abuse i want to buy three of them. i could lone these to people instead of the HKs and not give a damn and know they have a functional gun.

  • totally just sold me on this 200 dollar wonder. going to cabella's at the end of the month

  • LMFAO!!! "barry wat the hell'd u do to my hi point man"

  • That Hi Point C9 could hold its own

  • My fingers are way too precious to me to touch that thing after all that.

  • Awesome. One of my favorite series of bids.

  • Now after torturing this gun would you do the same to a glock or smith and wesson? Its amazing the effort you guys went through to destroy this gun. How would other more expensive and respected brands compare to this same torment and after its destruction can you say there were as easily replaced.I mean Hi point 150 usd Smith and wesson sigma 300 glock 500.I could buy two or three for the price and a gun reliable enough to shoot unless I decided to beat a bolt in the barrel and use as my CC

  • I still wouldn't depend on it to defend my life

  • If Hi-Point were smart, they'de use your series of videos to market the gun. And after all that abuse, it had to go at some point. I wonder if you had conducted the last test first, what would have happened? I'm actually very impressed with the durability.

  • Another great vid, thanks!

Looks like this one is way more reliable than the HPs in the other vids...why? How are the .45 Autos in Hi Point? Might get one just as a 'stealable' truck gun, if I can figure out how to make it at least 99% reliable.

  • @inotclaudius it is better than 99% reliable right out of the box

  • I watched all the vids in this series purely for the entertainment value. I owned a c9 for a couple of years when I first started shooting pistols. It would jam occasionally but ran fine for the most part. would I carry one? No (too heavy) would I enter it in a beauty pagent? Nope (ugly as sin)... would I use it to defend my family? you bet IF that's what I could afford. I bought mine brand new out the door for $140 and traded it 2 years later for $100. It's not a GLOCK- it's not supposed to be!

  • you gentle men should give that gun a grave all to it's self.

  • Looking at the grain on the slide and the barrel, that's.... uh.... uhm... A good gun. Not the best, but the metal does have realtively small grain, a sign of strength.

  • @mikeb1444 , the grain your looking at is I think just the coating over the metal.

  • @jaredleospirit

The slide is made out of not so great metal. The grain is big. The barrel on the other hand is bade out of good metal. The exposed broken surface has a matte appearance instead of a "Rough" appearance. In materials engineering, Small grain is a sign of strength, like mortar and bricks in a wall.

  • @mikeb1444 , yeah i heard hipoints are made from sheet or spring metal, but the barrel is only good metal because it has to be to handle heat and friction, like all modern gun barrels. but some go onto next level treatment like the other trusty brands like glock or maybe beretta or sig too. Cuz glock uses a extremely toxic treatment that isnt even legal in the U.S. and thats true info. because new U.S. made glocks don't have the same treatment. So buy austrian glocks. no offence to U.S.

  • gonna be my first "registered" pistol

  • just put my c9 on layaway cause of this video lol

  • got to say i bought my wife one and it jams if u bump the mag release at all. i thought it was a cheap peace of junk. guess i'll take the blame

  • I have seen alot of hit and miss when it comes to QC of hi points. some will jam every other round and some seem to run great. have you experienced the smae QC problems with any of the Hi Points?

  • These are crackhead vs. crackhead guns.

  • I would like to see that done to a Glock to see if it blows up too?

  • i think that old mans acuracy is the one thats suffered

  • im sorry i missed the first part on the tube im so sorry 4 wat i said i see wat yall was doin 2 make the c9 9mm 2 blow up thats the only way 2 do it lol

  • Thank you! That is the one and only existing Kaboom of a Hi-Point that I have ever found on the net, I also would like to see some of the more popular polymer framed guns put thru what that HP survived, BTW I LMAO about the accracy test. Nice videos.

  • will you do the exact same test on a smith & Wesson or Glock to see how they compare.

  • will you do the exact same test on a smith & wesson or glock to see how they compare.

  • FANTASTIC!!!

I've never heard anybody say anything good about these guns...

You had to build a pipe bomb out of the barrel to destroy it.

  • lol look at that barrel... as a c9 owner i can honestly say...took you long enough..

  • I think there will be a special place in heaven for this pistol.

  • ak of handguns? cheap and relaiable, dam f the gun I was going to buy, next week hi-point 9mm for mya...

  • I am glad to see that an American made gun was able to fare so well even under such extreme conditions. Perhaps you should be glad that there is no ASPCA for guns.

  • THAT SHOWS YOU AFTER ALL THAT SHIT IT STILL WORKED THATS A DAM GOOD GUN AND THEY WILL FIX IT

  • and have nothing better too do then rank on shit they don't like or suits their quality of possessions, and... B) because of the wannabe Wiggers and Ghetto non-white criminal trash who suck-up our White-American Welfare, which then in turn uses that free-handouts to buy this product/gun---most of time more and more I see them on the news using the Hi-Point's in violent crimes.

It really is a good gun, not the best design w/ fancy name, but good, and you proven it can hold it's own---Thanks!

  • (LMAO), I love the Southern-Reb with his Confederate-Kepi hat and the White beard, reminds me a lot of myself except I am only 27 but have Kepi on my Confederate Naval-Jack flag and my mother's clan's 13 Star "Old Betsy Ross" colonial flag.

The only reason why HI-Point gets a bad-rap, is because... A) of the rich upper class snobs who flash their fancy name brand EXPENSIVE pistols around like they do their penis's with other men in the rest-room at the dinner-lounge to prove their manhood,

  • Haha, great tests!

Curious as to what hi-point's response would be if you submit the videos.

  • holy shit lol .... ok im pick up the 45 hi point trm damb what anyone say about it lol this ugly gun is one tough s.o.b

  • do the 9mm carbine now, i always favored this rifle as a all around trunk gun but just how tough is it?

    guys excellent work!

  • And to think, when I bought my Hi-Point from Moss Pawn a couple of years ago, I could not get Ray to utter one word of praise for it, not one single word, lol. Great videos, guys. This is what YouTube shines at!

  • wow, one tough pistol. great videos!

  • I thought I watched them all, I guess I missed the very first one with explanation as to why this torture test was done. Was it because somewhere the is rumor or statement that they blow up on shooters due to their inherent weakness (read cheapness)? Or just because they are inexpensive then they must not be safe to operate? Just my opinion but I think their strength and safety was proven just because the average person with this on their nightstand is not going to plug the barrel, then shoot!!!

  • Not sure why they'd do that especially after the results you guys got.

  • love the rebel yells guys haha

  • Hell yeah! See if Hi-Point will cover that with a warranty. I'd send it to them with a copy of the videos just to screw with them and show 'em.

  • @Ruzai I am going to make a video discussing this, but we have decided not to send the gun in to Hi Point. We don't think it's fair to ask them to warranty this pistol since we obviously destroyed it on purpose. We are, however, going to send them all of these videos and see what they have to say. An 8x10" photo of thier staff giving me the finger would do just fine for me.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 hell their staff should be kissing your ass! with all the bad reputation of theese guns your helping prove they are good. IMO best deal out there for a handgun. BTW maybe hipoint will pay you for positive advertisement hahahaha

  • @Iraqveteran8888 , do you trust hipoint with your life with CC after making this?

  • @jaredleospirit If it's all I had....hell yeah I'd carry one.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 , but if it wasn't all you had and you had a choice between which name brand semi auto. clearly it wouldn't be hipoint right?

  • @jaredleospirit i do carry one, and as long as i dont make my gun into a pipe bomb like these guys did i think it will work just fine

  • @Iraqveteran8888

Sorry If I missed it but what was HP's response to the video? They should be proud the gun held up so well.. Im very impressed.

  • awesome

  • thanks again. i can't believe it was still running

  • do we get more experiments to see

  • hell yah that was awsome thumbs way up!!! I real liked all the hi-point videos you and the crew have done. thx for takeing the time to put out awsome videos like this... keep up the good work. give my thx to the crew as will

  • I am so glad that I subscribe to your videos. So much fun and information to be had. I appreciate all the time you always put into them. Thanks again!

  • I've said it before: You guys know how to have fun.

  • Would you guys put the Hi Point .40 and .45 though the same tests if you get a chance. I know they are reliable but sense I own a .45 JHP I'd love to see how much punishment it can take.

    Maybe also test the Carbines.

Good job though disproving the "Hi Point = Crap!" crowd out there. They cant claim they suck and fall apart easy now :D

  • I guess my high point will live forever.

  • Glock............ do a glock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • may the little gun rest in peace

  • @wingus79 Correction: "may the little gun rest in pieces"

    :)

  • LMAO!!! wow! now thats the way to do it!!!

  • ok, i've only got to 50sec of the vid, to the explanation of the method your going to use to blow the gun up and i'm grinning like a fool! bring it on!!!

  • 4 people thought it was so awesome they clicked the wroung botton

  • what model was this hi-point?

  • HOHO!! I think I'm going to buy one in 9mm! It is a worthless round, but what the hell.

  • @w4kwd 20 people in Arizona disagree with you.

  • @zhartford2 I maintain I am correct....otherwise they would all be dead.

  • @w4kwd Six of them are.

  • hand gun to hand grenade 3:28

  • Police up the parts for this thing and send it back to hi-point. I believe there is a possibility they will honor the warranty. I've heard amazing things about hi-point standing behind the stuff they make. Try it, if they honor the warranty, I'll buy one. I don't need it, but it seems like good Americans ought to be encouraging a homegrown company that makes low cost pistols that can take this abuse and still run. Thanks for doing this!

  • Cool but it`s a wayst.

  • @chris7w7 Why do you spell like that?

  • That'll buff right out.

  • well you finally reached your goal. glad to see the highpoint didn't lick you! I have to say it is a durable gun! it took 3 mad scientists to destroy it!. remind me to never let you load a muzzle-loader for me. you take it too literally when they joke around and say fill the barrel up with powder! LMAO!

  • Lol what if you sent it back to the company now

  • Yep, this video series with the Hi-Point testing was great.

It would be very good to see how a more expensive polymer frame pistol preferably also with straight blow back design would compare to the Hi-Point. I can't find another one than PPK right now but a Glock 17 or something would do it also I guess.

  • lol... Send the pieces to hi-point and see if they honor warranty

  • lol.... Send the pieces to hi-

  • That. Was. Awesome. Well done, guys!

  • What a spectacular end to a great series of videos. Do you feel like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders? :P

  • I bought a Remington 870 a while ago before the economy got too bad, and before my parents jobs had been moved over to Mexico. My father was able to get another job, and my mother was able to get government compensation to go back to college. However, this has put us back a bit. I bought a S&W 40VE, which failed every chance it got (FTF, FTE, trigger reset, etc.) even after sending it back to S&W. I sold it, and I think a Hi-Point is in our future, now. Thanks for the torture test vids!

  • Amazing what the hi point took in the way of abuse. Excellent video and thumbs up! Thanks for going through the work to do this series.

  • This whole series has been fantastic. Very dangerous, but absolutely fantastic!

  • damn! i was actually waiting for the vice to blow up!

  • You guys rock

  • Comment removed

  • @KASPLARFO You have to understand that science has casualties....it's just part of it. That's price you have to pay to learn things.

  • @Iraqveteran8888

    Understood.

I have the feeling that you will not miss that particular item ツ

  • @Iraqveteran8888 You should torture test a Nagant revolver.

  • @KASPLARFO : It's not like this is a S&W Registered .357 Magnum. Hi-Point churns these pistols out by the thousands. If anyone wants one, they are not difficult to find. The torture this one gun endured has proven without a doubt that a potential Hi-Point buyer has no fear in owning one. There's been a lot of Internet chatter that these are junk guns. These tests have shown those charges to be false. Hi-Points ain't pretty, but they are a functional defensive tool for an inexpensive price tag.

  • @KASPLARFO I think Hi-Point made a few spares to cover it

  • @KASPLARFO I think it is more likely that people who can't afford a "better" gun than this will now be willing to purchase a highpoint because of these videos. One guy dies so that many more will be used. Big picture man...gotta see it.

  • @KASPLARFO I personally feel that this was not a waste.. It did ruin a gun, but as they said from the first video, the trigger guard was already cut off.. So they couldn't do anything with it anyway. And I feel this will possibly defend more families than if the experiments were not done.. As Iraqveteran said. It's the price you pay to learn things.. People think these guns are useless and would rather not have one at all then own one of these and I feel this changed some people's minds..

  • @KASPLARFO ever seen/heard of glock torture tests or any torture tests performed by the owning gun company? this is anything but a ridiculous waste b/c they own that firearm and it's theirs to do with what they want. THE WORLD WILL RUN OUT OF BULLETS BEFORE WE EVER RUN OUT OF GUNS

  • @KASPLARFO What a joke your are man!The test was great and now more people will buy HI-POINT'S after seeing this test!

  • I wish Hi Point would redesign their pistols like they did with their carbines. that would be exciting. Has anyone heard about the new Kel Tec RMR-30 carbine that is coming out soon. It is a 22 magnum carbine that has magazine compatibility with their PMR-30 pistol. I heard it will have a price in the 450$-500$ range.

  • HAHAHA nicely done, and in spectacular fashion

  • Oh, so it died finally... GREAT!!!

Damn Hi Point terminator from hell!!!

  • I really don't have any problems with the Hi-Point as a gun, the only problems that I ever had with mine were the mags that it used. I absolutely HATE plastic feed lips and mine broke all of the time. If Hi-Point would make steel feed ramps that would be great.

  • finnaly

  • That was awesome, great vid thanks guys.

  • Great series of videos. even after all the torture you guys had put this gun to it still stood up as a decent defence gun. Hope to see future testing. Thanks.

  • man i hope that nice lookin C clamp is okay..

  • "Barry, what the hell did you do to my hi-Point man" lol

  • Thank you for your service to this country, and God bless you for making these videos!

  • Bravo gents. I believe that was a successful conclusion.
