@ZantovanGillie Hey now, the Super Mario Bros. movie was amazing! Dennis Hopper as King Kooper? C'mon! ;D But yeah, I can see how people would compare the Zelda movie to LotR. I think the main reason they don't want a Zelda movie is because Link was, pretty much, the original "silent protagonist". Miyamoto has always been very in favor of this character representing the player more so than any of his other creations, .. thus a movie would ruin that connection. That goes for most ANY game movie.
