Several mistakes-- that's why this was so painful.
1. You should have put baby powder on his chest before hand so that the wax sticks to the hair and not your skin.
2. You have to put the wax on a small area at a time.
3. When you apply the wax- only put one layer otherwise the wax on the first layer will stick to the wax on the second layer instead of your hair and you'll have to do it more times causing more irritation.
The guy doing the waxing was a total twit. He obviously had no idea what he was doing. And then he says HE can't watch it anymore? He wasn't the guy laying there in pain getting waxed. What a twit.
I can't believe you tried to wax your happy trail, Chris. I had no idea you were this hairy....what kind of wax is that anyway? where are the waxing strips that people normally use? And how long did this actually take?
Yeah, it was horrible. I am deceptively hairy. This was the CHEAPEST wax we could find (not nads, as I've been told we should use), and it actually took almost an hour. I demanded lots and lots of breaks. It was really really horrible, the worst decision ever.
I think Sally Hansen is the best. They all lie though....they are all painful and if your hair is longer than an inch, you should be trimming it.....you guys need to research next time

4. Then you press the paper or cloth strip (that are provided with the wax kit) on the hot wax.
5. While holding the skin taut, you must quickly pull off the strip against the grain of the hair growth.

They did it the wrong way. You have to wax in many steps, and take the wax off in very quick strokes.

First.....never use that kind of wax to remove hair from your chest it's the worst kind.
second. never put that much on your at the same time. do small amounts.
