Thank you now I can complete this room I got stuck in how to get the companion cube ^^

you can skip that process just put a portal on teh ground next to the lift (it isnt lowered yet) then go up the stairs and shoot one on the floor like you did at the start then jump down and you get launched up onto the platform without even needing the cube.
