That poor cow probably thinks you are just a bunch of perverts. You have enslaved her and forced her to do things she doesnt like. Like playing with her privates.
@mydadsatwork, I have had ekadasi giving milk for 7 years WITHOUT even having a calf. (spontaneous lactation) of course that's I call her my magic cow. Bhudevi is in her third year of lactation without being pregnant. Haripriya has been milking without being pregnant for almost 1and a half years now. Cows are like any lactating animal or human. they give milk AFTER they have given birth. Then it just depends how long they will continue to give milk without getting pregnant again.
I like how you are feeling for your cows. But you are one of a small range of people who do this. But your wrong, drinking milk is not natural, its just normal because of the dogma. A few years ago it was normal to hate blacks and other, it was normal to have slaves...I believe that one time it is normal, NOT to drink milk and eat meat....
(Im german, so sorry about possible mistakes in my english)
Your cows are lovely and I can tell you have genuine affection for them. Unfortunately, most production dairy cows are not treated that humanely. People thirst for milk because it is advertised that it "Does a body good" and "Got Milk?" We think we have to have it in our diets. Truth is, it's very hard to digest the milk the another creature, let alone another species. Goat's milk is too harsh for puppies, etc. It's a personal choice for everyone to drink or not to drink.
Don't cows give milk only when they have calves? Its so bad.. you rear them, say u love them.. but may be u're actually having them only for the milk.. How mean... Its for their calves not for u. Removing Bhudevi's horns, artificial insemination.. how much manipulation.. Its bad!! :( U just want milk so you want them to have calves again again. MEAN!!
@sanaluksfine Actually, naturally cows become pregnant a few months after they have had their calf. But yeah, I do it unnaturally, because I don't want so many cows, and I'm not willing to sell cows to people who might kill them. especially bull calves. Bhudevi continually spears Haripriya with her horns and she tried to kill my nephew. Haripriya has a fresh gouge in her neck from a few days back. Artificial insemination is good if you want to avoid a bull calf.
You are sick!!! ''She gives good milk.'' ''She makes about a half a gallon of milk a day.'' ??? Yuck!! You are running a really thin line between perversion and bestiality. Seek help. And, by the way, cow's milk isn't a part of a normal human diet.
@gongoozler18 How is anything that she said perverted? All she was saying is that their milk is healthy. And she's just showing affecter for the cows. Perversion? Give me a break.
@NateTalksToYou Bestiality is base on one's own personal perception. If people are gratification from drinking milk from a completely different species of animal, then yes. People who say they get orgasms in their mouth drinking mucousy secretions containing blood and pus are . Also, what's the deal with the milk mustaches in those Got Milk? TV commercials? The mustaches make it look like the person just got finish performing a sexual act...on a COW!! That is sick!!!
@gongoozler18 ROFLMAO! You're one twisted vegan. I can't believe I'm going to have to explain this to you.Bestiality means to have intercourse with another species. Therefore, drinking milk is not bestiality. And I don't know anyone who says they have an orgasm in their mouth from drinking milk. Who told you that shit? And the milk mustache is what you get when you drink a glass of milk. Unless you can think for yourself, and use logic in your claims, don't bother responding to this comment.
@diabeticvegan wow, you hope someone removes my head? I take care of my cows. with out their loving owner, my cows would also die, probably from some meat eating person cutting of their head. You are the same if not worse than the meat eaters, with your cruel mentality. Bhudevi is constantly beating up haripriya, gouging her and spearing her all the time. and she tried to kill my nephew. Still haven't gotten rid of her horns tho, because I want to find a nice way.
@sueishere25 yeah, When we first got Haripriya, she was just like a rack of bones. She is I believe of the skinniest of the milk breeds of cows (jersey), and she was in full lactation. She's much fatter now, but it's hard to maintain her weight. I feed her more than she can eat, but her body still wants to put it to milk rather than fat on her body.
@katelyn442 well... if you feel his scrotum it is empty. There are no testicles there. But He acts like a full bull, not a castrated ox or steer, and we have not removed them, therefore they must be in his abdomen, undescended.
@pratik02pv it's kind of funny... i think you may be right- but it's like i take care of my cows like the way you have to take care of a baby, but then they take care of me the way to take care of a baby.. so I do see them as my mothers, but.. it's a complex relationship.. :D Sometimes Peter is a bit of a punk, but I don't think we spoil him.. He's a good lil fella.
Yes you are right relation is very complex. I was in cattle rearing occupation when I was young. My cows and buffaloes used to lick whenever I seat near to them like they lick their calves. For cows and buffaloes I was their "calf ". But I enjoyed that relation very much and I am missing it right now.
so precious...i wish i had the landspace to do what you do, bring up cows, and other animals with the love, and respect they deserve.... just like lord krishna treated everyone and everything....

That is a real nice home for the cows,
