  • such a good tune

  • my guess is that "the universe" goes on forever, as does "time". forever and ever and ever. no beginning and no end.

  • @Jyotirveda2 It's the mandelbrot set and it's pretty amazing.

Google it, explore it and you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • I love the soundtrack. Please tell me who the artist is and name of the song.

  • I love the soundtrack! What is it? I must have it!

  • Hey I love this music - what is it?

  • Smoked Glass & Chrome by Ott

  • This I like, at last on youtube I found something that is not reliant on listening to endless streams of nonsensical dribble from entrepreneurs who have discovered that the "guru" business is very good indeed.

This I relate to and after a lot of years of yoga, meditation and fasting I have come to realise that brief glimpses of enlightenment is little more that an accident coming from being absorbed in the moment.

  • my little copy has been read many times until I got passed it and realized that enlightenment is a sham. The best we can hope for is maturity of mind. To be a little more understanding, patient, open-minded, and compassionate than the year before. It doesnt require a book - just living with awareness.

  • Yes, I fully agree with that actually!

  • They say

Your own soul is your best teacher

  • @creationofself haha therefore enlightenment isn't a sham. you just can't achieve it by thinking it

  • @Bongingon good luck

  • @creationofself some would argue that there are different levels of enlightenment, and your acquisition of each depends on your effort and attitude towards their attainment. enlightenment is damn hard to reach, especially when you aren't being pampered in a monastery and being forced to perform mandatory 3 hour meditations throughout the day. the monks that live in tibet, india, etc have it easy. no distractions = less outer chatter, which is the first step in meditation and clear comprehension

  • @creationofself LOL fuck its a sham . i already am that. and i can't gain anything from knowing that. so nothing changed. pff scam artists wasting my time. sometimes it just takes an old guru to snap people out of it when your down man. they are pretty funny i think : p

  • @creationofself :

yeah, see what u mean. 'enlightenment'--if i had the time & energy it would b interesting to list some definitions of 'enlightenment' & compare & contrast them.

Personally am interested in the 'enlightenment is nothing other than the loss of the ego' type of malarky. Like: the ego? How can losing that which defines oneself, in some very important sense, be the ultimate aim?

  • @creationofself In some sense "enlightenment" is a sham because whatever idea you form of it is not true,

"IT" is in fact totally different. Gradually "improving yourself" is fine as far as it goes. But Humanity needs much more than this and we are going to get it, even if it is as our earth crumbles. Ultimately what we are all missing is: There is much more than just our thoughts and the internal world we create entirely out of thoughts and feelings. To become aware of THAT is the begining.

  • @creationofself (please excuse my long comment continued): Living with awareness is enough, it's true.

And we don't need books. And yet "take all the help you can get" one master said. What are you not aware of yet? That is what can be pointed out... How does the thought "enlightenment is a sham" feel? Does it arise over and over? Notice that. So, here is more book to read and then discard: The power of now.

It may explain "enlightenment" in a new way which points rather than makes thoughts.

  • I love reading, nice song.

    Expand your consciousness

    5/5

  • Im too lazy to read all this.

  • The text flies by way too fast. Especially for this kind of a message.

    I find it technically unusable.

  • were you not smart enough to hit the pause button and read through it if you actually wanted too?? >.> just a question not a dis

  • No, I was smart enough to move on. Whoever wants is message to be heard should make it fucking readable. This is youtube, there hundreds of videos like this, non so dissing and lacking in basic empathy to the viewers.

I give it 1 star, for not being smart enough to create something FOR the public, and not for one's self indulgent view of self expression.

  • I think there's a limit to the length of the videos they can post to youtube, ... it's most likley that they had to put it fast inorder to actually post it....if you wanted to learn you need the patience for it, it's not always so easy...infact the oposite because hard serves to make worth

  • @superdiza haha u make me laugh, you sound like such a happy person

  • Well, superdiza, although I must agree the pace of the text changing takes away from the experience. There IS a pause button, which is there for YOUR use.

  • Interesting, but over-ambitious perhaps.

  • hahahaha spot on.... instant moksha... its damn simple... simply speak to the MAN!!!!

  • forgot about this book!

  • i love it! :)

  • Erm.. slightly too fast, considering the depth of the material. Maybe I'm just tired. Very interesting otherwise.

  • OTT Smoked Glass and Chrome

  • great video, love your ideas..

  • roots roots roots, this was the last utube video I'll ever watch, time to go and make up with every last single demonic person that I know.

  • Always tested but never expanded upon, roots roots roots roots

I feel the music you chose a little overbearing,

but It didnt stop me from pausing to carefully read every line

art has become condesending and even the most sincire writters are fighting against its magnetic force.

Yes anything, anything they cried, and we surpass that thought realizing that one is not always comfortable even when they are seemingly comfortable.

You needend reach for the sky, it is always pressing down on you,

  • saw ott live in austin, it was swell =DDDD

  • it could get a little lazier, like if there was narrator so you wouldn't have to rush through reading each sentence.

    but umm, anyway, good stuff!

  • what kind of song is this, man? :) i very like your video - its grate.

please, write me an ARTIST of this SONG and NAME. ;)=]

  • read the fucking info!

  • shut up! you idiot...

  • eho is the singer of this? the voice made me happy ^_^. an wut song is it? (not awo husoor) plz reply

  • Top Stuff indeed!

Get yourself stoned, listen to the music and it all becomes clear.

  • omg i <3 it

  • Anyone knows the name of the singer, language, or meaning of the song? I'm in love with that voice! I get a hard-on every time! Ott is best!

  • This is like a remix of the song "Punjab" by Karunesh, a German "composer" who lives in India and cooperates with different indian and arabic artists. As far as I know, this one is sung in Urdu. If you enter the title here, you will find the original song.

  • no its not this guy is dumb is OTT smoked glass and chrome

  • OTT is wonderful! :D

    Skylon album just got released

    Tripswitch rules too :O

  • This music is so very nice......perfect to have a nice time..:-)

  • This philosphy helps connect the dots for me. Most of this philosophy I've realized forever, but you found a way to put it in words so I can comprehend it verbally. it's great ~ thanks.

BTW, Who is the music by? it's fascinating.

  • OK then folks, for those who wish to know

The Song is Called "Smoked Glass and Chrome" by "Ott" from His 2003 Album Titled "Blumenkraft" , You'll find the rest of the album just as good, visit the twisted records uk website to find more like it

  • I like the fractals!

  • I can't read that fast.

  • If you had read the description of the video, you would have known that... "The text goes a little too fast two times in the beginning. Just watch the video twice to catch it. Or otherwise watch the slower version read by the author himself at...(see link there)"

  • Enjoyable music and pretty interesting text, dankjewel
