Never liked this scene. Extremely rehearsed and completely out of character. What, he just goes from being a dumbfuck thug to being able to hold long, intimidating speeches?
I actually had to hold in laughter when I saw this episode on tv. I love breaking bad and everyone on it, but I thought this scene was really over-acted,, almost like he had an emmy in mind when he did this scene. I know he did win an emmy, but this scene is just hoaky.. Its a good makeup job, but its a bad one at the same time.. Can't wait to see what happens on Sunday... Oh yeah,, let the attacks on my thoughts begin.. Keyboard thugs, this is your time to shine!!
2 houses, the life of his first true love, his family life, his health, and security. All things that have been destroyed for Jesse, thanks to Mr. White. Never has a character who is such a bad influence gained so much of my sympathy and support. I love the way this show dips so far into the morally gray zone, and how, amongst all the dark deeds being done, there are no "bad guys." Great scene!
This was very powerful, but the scene later on in this episode where he tells Walt that everything got bad for him since he got involved with Walt is more powerful and dramatic.
@Mooshtradamus him and Ben Linus from LOST. this is my favorite show but i didn't like this part at all. Jesse was being such a baby. i mean Hank definitely had reason to be pissed, and just because Jesse got his ass kicked he wants to ruin Hank's life in return? something about this scene bugged me. but that doesn't stop this from being the best show ever.
Yeah, watching this scene for the first time tonight convinced me why Aaron earned an emmy this year. Sure he's been great before, but this took the cake for me.
This is one of Jesse's greatest moments, but in my opinion, it's not as good as the scene where Walt offers Jesse partnership again. Aaron Paul's emotion in that scene was just incredible.
HELL YEAH, MUTHAFUCKING AARON PAUL FTW! I was hoping so badly that he'd get an Emmy for this scene alone. Bryan Cranston is fucking brilliant, but Aaron Paul deserves so much credit for counterbalancing Bryan's grandiose performance with a much more restrained and delicate one.
Dude. I was just watching this episode, and after hearing this speech thought "I've got to find this video", and here it is. Thanks you, my quest is completed.
Fitting that "The Exorcist" is in the related videos.
