  • It's like something off Help! (You've Got To Hide Your Love Away), and the song starts of with "No I won't" which is straight off Ben. E King's Stand By Me (Lennon covered it) and then it has the "Don't Let Me Down" bit in it. But I don't care, Oasis are the greatest band of the last 30 years so sod off all you haters and listen to wise Liam.

  • Won't Let You Dooooown

    Don't Let Me Dooooown

    Won't Let You Dooooown

    Won't Let You Dooooown

  • This song actually just made me shiver. It mightve been a coincedence but the song started and i shivered. Incredible, gives me so much emotion, this song has so much feeling!!

  • Sounds like John Lennon on this

  • they would have been bigger than the Beatles but America couldn't stand the heart break of another great euro band.

  • Comment removed

  • @bigmike42092 That's not true at all. Believe me when I say, "It would not have broke anyone's heart if Oasis would have been more popular in America." I wish they would have been more popular because they are such a great band! But for you to think that Americans would have been heart broken... That's just not true. The Beatles are bigger than Oasis but that doesn't mean that Oasis isn't the greatest band of it's time! The Beatles rock and so does Oasis!!

  • @bigmike42092 Oasis weren't big in America because America had plenty of amazing rock bands in the 90s. There were simply too many top rock bands in the 90s for Oasis to do great in the charts.

  • @odonnelljosh who did america have in the 90s, i know im being an idiot but who would u consider big back then

  • @invictorium Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters (who were huge around the time of Be Here Now), Green Day and Stone Temple Pilots.

I like Oasis more than I like any of those bands, but most of them would make my top 10 favourites too. The 90s were when American rock music was its best. British bands who made it big in the US in the 60s/70s made it when American rock music wasn't that good (in my opinion).

  • John Lennon voice !

  • ela ra !

  • mpesa?

  • It was the biggest inspiration I've ever had.

  • What an amazing song! But every Oasis' fan (as I am) must admit that this song is Gallagher's brothers attempt at doing a song like "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away".

Similar essence and the use of the word "clowns" makes me really remind the Beatle song.

  • Without you I am like Oasis without Gallagher brothers.

  • oasis never lets me down :)

  • Hey check out my wonderwall remix. New beat, new lyrics, let me know what you think! Any criticism is greatly appreciated!

  • you let me down, but i'll always love you

  • "Open your mind" as the song goes. Hmmm, yes, that would be interesting.

Why is the face of African slavery a European face when it should be an Arab face? Going by body count based on empirical data that is.

I beg your pardon, music promised you a rose garden. Free of the real times. Just bathed in the sunshine. Enjoy your toke while you choke...

    Anti-racist is a code word for anti-White.

  • Oasis has never let us down.

  • @ROCKSOLID19

They definitely did. on 28th of August. 2009. in Paris

  • @DefinitelyMaybe500 I was talking about that they never letus down over the quality of music. I remember the painful headlines and I have been to 14 Oasis gigs. Thank You For The Good Times.

  • @ROCKSOLID19 Yeah but i was in Paris that day. Do u know what i mean?

  • hits the spot

  • Holy shit ! Oasis is not getting older, and won't. Won't let you down Oasis <3

  • whats the image from @1:20??

PS. Sorry for my bad English, I from Poland.

  • oasis were the sixth beatle

  • O-A-S-I-S-

  • On every occasion, Oasis and the Gallagher brothers never let me down. Never.

  • 3 people were let down; they expected Bieber.

  • Brilliant tune Liam... YOU ROCK too! :D

  • Dam! Where the hell did this land from??! I'm sure my guitar won't be able to hold back its emotions when I start strumming this! :D

  • Woah.. where did this come from? Noel must be the lovechild of McCartneyLennon, LennonMcCartney!!

  • @daviedire Liam wrote this

  • 10

  • liams voice at it's peak <3

  • :D

  • No band is "better than the other",they just sound different and are different styles for different people.

  • @DawnRainWasHere exactly, its all just sound

  • @DawnRainWasHere Technically, your assessment is wrong. Depends on the judging criteria.

  • @armyaviationproud lol my judging criteria technically officiates that you are wrong lol

  • @DawnRainWasHere thank god .......bieber is not a band lol

  • @DawnRainWasHere unless the band is full of horrible musicians.. then i would say that there are bands better than them. not it sound, but talent...

  • @theforbesman But yet again Hipsters will listen to them type of bands on a retro Sony walkman in Starbucks.

  • @FlexxArtist have you ever even seen someone doing that? or are you stereotyping?

  • 3 people let them down!

  • FUCKING AMAZING

  • @AndreaDeRegis It's the truth. Oasis beat The Beatles, Gallagher's beat Lennon/McCartney.

  • @Sgtpepper212 and so? who cares? they're both great.

  • @Sgtpepper212 Shut up!! Oasis is a fucking great band, but they are not as good as the Beatles, and the Gallagher´s know that

  • @AndreaDeRegis You sarcastic or what ???

  • tema

  • dear prudence

  • Underated Song

  • GREAT SONG!!!!!! love it

  • I adore the beatles, but None of the beatles can compare this vocally, The Gallagher's voices are uniqueand In my opinion at their Best (this era) they are untouchable, even to the beatles!

  • @zipzipzaroo hmmmm... you're actually right. who can touch Noel ? some people state "there's a 'beatle' in him" which I quite don't understand. whatever, whatever, the beatles and oasis are going to live forever

  • love this song!

  • ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC!

    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

  • ultra-beatles song... is awesome :)

  • uno de los mejores

  • Digan lo que digan, cantando Liam es muy superior a Lennon

  • very much like love like a bomb but still a decent tune!

  • Comment removed

  • 3 years here, no downvotes

  • @sarcastichumanbeing Sorry I got incredibly confused with Liams obvious, albeit pretty good imitation of Lennon

  • @Mynameisaw WANKER

  • @norm081974 I can see your pretty intelligent! Oh wait.. sorry no, no you're not.. in the slightest

  • @sirlennon87 hey at least hes doing something with his life unlike you.

  • @TheGupak Not just that band, their B-sides are 1000 times more better than the crazy crap we get today! :D

  • Comment removed

  • It's true, Oasis won't let you down, ever!

  • 1:20 can you get that as a poster ? :)

  • So Beatlesque LOVE IT!

  • why I heard Lennon????

  • FUCKING EPIC!!!

  • @1:20 possibly the greatest image in rock history!

  • @nashr1752 what concert is it from???

  • @1010Beatles It is from Slane Castle 95'

  • @nashr1752

No mate, the greatest image in rock history is The Beatles crossing Abbey Road. But this is a close second! Cheers

  • GREAT VOICE !!!!!!

  • Anybody think Liam wrote this in response to "Don't Let Me Down - The Beatles". Interesting thought eh?

  • sometimes i just wish i was Liam!

  • @wondereyedrive Dont we all?

  • his voice sounds so different but amazing! love it :)

  • Oh my...this is soo John Lennonish...nice, anyway!

  • gosh, that's a really good song :)

  • this guys sounds like heavens thick butter basting my behind.

  • @jdenicholls that's the one, "You've got to hide your love away". thank u.

  • Excelent... in every way!

  • the melody of the song sounds familiar. i don't if it's just me but can anyone tell me what melody of the song did oasis get this from?

  • @KJRA2009 its similar to all around the world

  • @KJRA2009 I don't think it is particularly taken from anything - it's just a very standard Liam vocal with his usual sneer and vocal bends. To me it bears resemblance to "Hide Your Love Away" by the Beatles.

  • why the fuck did they put "meaning of soul" on the album instead of this?? it aint a bad song but my god this is leagues ahead. one of the best oasis songs ever.

  • @tozza7157 Because Noel always insisted on keeping the best tracks off of their albums :D

  • Well, everyone have to be influence by somebody. Even for John Lennon; He was influence by Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley.

  • very lennon-esque

  • @theCONOReffect Hmmm. which song sounds alike???

  • @theCONOReffect he copies lennon all the time, ain't you noticed yey=t!

  • @skint0n0minted No he doesnt. One of the good things about Oasis is that they are original in almost every way.

  • @fxsaberboy hahahahahahahaha funniest thing i've heard in ages. 'no he doesn't' you comedian

  • @skint0n0minted There music is original and you will not win this argument. Everyone is influenced by someone in some way shape of form. Liam doesn't copy Lennon. He may have been influenced but there is a difference. Considering there are millions of songs in the worlds right now. Many of them are going to sound similar. I love Oasis just as I love The Beatles and I see similarities but thats all I see. Liam is not copying Lennon. Go troll somewhere else please.

  • @fxsaberboy yes he is it's just hes talentless so he can't even copy people spot on. he tries to act like Rotten, but limas not honest at all. tries to sing like Lennon (badly) copied Ian Browns dress style and even walks the sam as Brown - what a joke

  • @skint0n0minted Everyone that reads your absurd comments hates you. Congratulations. Seriously though...go troll somewhere else. I'm guessing you hate Oasis, so why the fuck are you on their videos?

  • @fxsaberboy ill get over it. I think Noel is a genius and a brilliant musician, the better singer. I just cant stand that lazy, arogant, gobby, selfobsessed useless twat liam

  • @skint0n0minted I like both of them singing but I prefer Liam. that lazy, arogant, gobby, self-obssesed twat is what makes Liam different from so many singers like hmmm John Lennon?

Just because you dont like Liam doesn't mean you need to bash him every chance you get. Didn't your mother teach you a very important lesson when you were young?

If you have nothing nice to say, dont say it at all.

Bashing Liam like that makes yourself look arogant.

  • @fxsaberboy different? anyone can try to immitate someone. Actually my parents taught me the same values as John Lydons did. be yourself son, think for yourself, don't let other people tell you what to think or what to be and be honest. I'm just saying what i really think, which is something liams never ever done before. hes in music for money and fame and that is just wrong to me, cant stand people like that.

  • @skint0n0minted I respect that you have values. I do too. But what I know is that no one on this site wants to here someone ranting about what they enjoy. As of the moment our world is going down the hole, especially in the united states and the last thing people want to hear is negative shit. Liam has matured since his younger years. He isn't in it for the money anymore, after all, if he retired now he could live the rest of his life on his millions of dollars and his children will to.

  • @skint0n0minted fuck off

  • @skint0n0minted

Liam had the greates rock voice ever. But he lost it.

  • @Endstation funny that ..... i seen at Blackpool last night and i thought that he has no where near lost it.. infact he was one of the best times ive seen him....

  • wow

  • top tunes. can't beleive how many oasis tunes I havent heard , all the're all great tunes worthy of being on albums !! Mad 4 it

  • thanks dude! awesome vids!

  • give peace a chance!! lol liams vocals...thats rock nroll

  • I'm a huge Oasis fan so I thought I knew all their songs by heart, but what a pleasure that it isnt actually true!

great song, well done (as always) Liam

  • @applefieldd im a way bigger oasis fan than u! i know everysong song ever writtin by heart!

  • this has gotta a be a song for noel

  • with a little help from my friends... joe cocker version!

  • oh god. please stop comparing liam or oasis to the beatles, it get's boring.

  • @Shaguar66 oasis are better than the shitty beatles

  • @bigSlide94 listen to "Rubber soul", "Revolver", "SGT. Peppers", "White Album" etc. etc. and please shut the fuck up.

I love oasis and for me it's the best band but the beatles did so much for our music culture. without them nothing would sound like it does!

Oasis were called Rain, which is a song by the "shitty" beatles (listen to it and you never will say shitty again). if liam would have heard you say shitty beatles he would have broken your nose i think ^^

  • @Shaguar66 oasis are better than the beatles discusion over...

  • @Shaguar66

he needs to take his head out of his arse, John Lennon was an activist. Liam is an egotist.

  • @Shaguar66 I have been an Oasis fan for over 16 years. I have been a musician for 20 years. I must say I don't hear the Beatles in Oasis as much as everybodyelse does. Yes they are an inspiration to them. But comparing the two all the time is indeed boring, useless and futile. I just don't get it. But that's just me.

  • @youareslaves I don't see it either to be honest. It's original, sure their influenced and it rubs out. But all good bands have to be influenced lol

  • @Shaguar66 Oasis would fuck beatles up

  • idiot

have at least a bit of knowledge.

  • Fantastic song!! It's great to discover some of these amazing b-side tunes!

  • Liam's songwriting has definitely improved over the years, I really loved his stuff from Standing on the Shoulders of Giants and Don't Believe the Truth, namely Roll it Over, Little James, and I really love Love Like a Bomb

  • he didnt write Roll It Over

  • he didnt write roll it over but little james was good... but dead basic, now with better musicians around him he's got alot better. Some of his b-sides are awesome

  • little james was from the heart but not as talented as a left handed guitar playing noel that would play with both hands

  • I only just discovered this, nice song, Liams written some good tunes in the last few years!

  • Nice job liam!

  • @OasisOblivion Favorite song by him. and it was a B side? haha Good job man.

  • which single is this off of?

  • It's a b-side from the "LYLA" single!

  • did Liam write this?....it sounds like he wrote it....if he did its one of his best......

  • Yes it's written by Liam

  • no, its written by James

  • still liam

  • TUNNEEEEEE!!!!!

  • the majority of oasis songs sound nothin' like the beatles and it's such a narrow minded easy thing 2 say that they rip them off etc.

  • Don´t let us down noel.....

  • this song confused me with hey you've gotta hide your love away

  • how the fuck? sounds absolutely nothing at all like 'hide your love away'

  • this sounds just like a lennon solo song

  • Please, never call him Johnny again. It's Mr. Lennon for twats like you.

  • Alright you walking, talking piece of pointless retardation.

  • aww, don't put yourself down like that. it's not your fault you're a waste of space.

  • so? hasn't ever band ripped off a bit of the beatles? but oasis do it with class, hense being one of the best bands in the universe.
