1994 Geo Prizm deceleration engine note

i have a 92 geo prizm. and i love it. great gas milage, not a very family friendly car though. tight turning radius and all that. buttt, it doesnt have an rpm gauge. its auto of course butstill.. i hvent topped it out, fastest ive gone is 65 on the highway. buti love my geo.

my Geo prizm didnt have an RPM gauge, i just had to shift form 1st to 2nd at 35MPH and 2nd to 3rd at 55MPH it only has 3 forward speeds. it sucks cause i race it as an Enduro and id love to see how much more power i could get out of it on the RPM gauge

from what i understand the prizm has no problem doing over the 110 or so thats on the dash.

at what rpm does the rev limiter kick?

In my 96' Prizm it kicks in at 6,000 Rpm's

With the stock engine, the 94's rev limiter is set at 6500rpm.

This rev limiter is at 7600 rpm.

In third gear my car can do 105mph.

@alansaladan thats whatsup! check my videos man and doesnt that 7afe have a limit at 6500rpm that 7500 is kinda dangerous bro..but its your car and you know it better than anyone else..try a 4age head on the 7afe block with 4age pistons and standard rods
