  • we have opel here but we know them as vauxhall

  • Looks like fuel pump max fuel screw has been turned up to give more power thats all

  • Oh?! Does such thing exist? I'll see next time when I have it up and running. One thing I remembered when you posted that is; When this car was in use, I did never find the redline\max rpms, it still kept rising to above 5300 rpms (Did not dare to continue, afraid the engine would blow up). All else diesel engines I had, allways maxed at 4400 to 4800rpms. Wonder if it has any connection to the max fuel screw...

  • It was previously own by some kids, it did have tinted windows, lowered suspension and tweaked mileage counter (Insurance in Norway only cover a preset amount of Km each year). Probably take it for a blast when headgasket has been replaced (delay, delay, delay) Or even the whole engine, since its much less expensive to buy a new engine then it is to replace important parts

  • worn injectors? or just in need of a good hard blast along the motorway for around 80 miles, loads of revs to blow the crud outta there! Worked great for mine!
