hey guys i bought the fenix rising map pack but not the season pass i seem to be lagging alot recently, do the people with fenix rising without a season pass still get dedicated servers or is it just season pass with ds

This game can go to hell now. Epic just ruined it by basically forcing you to buy the new maps otherwise you cannot play on dedicated servers like you used to. This game is Gears of War 2 all over again without the new maps. On top of that, stupid sawed-off shotgun still exists.

Dude screw this. They are basically forcing you to buy the DLC to play on dedicated servers which we were playing on until this was released. Now without the DLC, GOW 3 is GOW 2 all over again because you play by hosts and sometimes the game inds if the host quits. And in addition there is still the annoying damn sawed-off shotgun.

@strongtheory Why does everyone hate the Sawed-Off and the Retro-Lancer? They are both as good and cool as the Lancer, Hammerburst, and the Gnasher. You just need to know how to use them.

@jbowye The gnasher was what originally defined this game. Adding the Sawed-off was unnecessary. The retro lancer on the other hand is acceptable, granted it is overpowered, it still takes some skill. The sawed-off is stupid because all you require is to be within a 2 foot range of the opponent and shoot. Sometimes with the gnasher that won't always work. Because it takes skill.

I have a few questions. I unlocked Thrashball Cole Train in the beta and he was also unlocked with this dlc, so does anyone else have two Cole Trains? I also preordered Gears from Gamestop and got Commando Dom as my exclusive character, and after downloading Fenix Rising I got the Savage Kantus which I believe you got from preordering at best buy. Was the Savage Kantus part of the dlc or was that just a fluke? And lastly, WHAT THE FUCK IS A SAVAGE MARAUDER?

gears if war 3 in my opinion was the only shooter last year that didn't disappoint and to see its still be supplied frequently with new maps and dlc is amazing, we might have had to have waited a bit longer but Epic games certainly delivered the goods! other games developers take note!

@lloydy187 Eh campaign's story was bad, left more plot holes. Multiplayer had sawed off, but I'll agree it was a lot more fun than the other shooters that came late 2011. Best shooter though was obviously Portal 2.
