I saw Sleeper live at The Astoria in Charing Cross Road, London, in 1995. I remember many people in the crowd seemed to have fallen in love with Louise. Lots of people yelling "Louise I love you!!" over and over again. Saying it with real passion. In the gaps between songs when she was talking to the crowd guys kept shouting that, and meaning it. She captured a lot of peoples imagination and many lost people seemed to find comfort in having her in their lives - even if they would never meet her.
