I know people like to refer to LC as gothic but the truth is they really are not. They put on that gothic image but their lyrics for the most part not gothic at all. In truth many of Cristinas lyrics are very inspiring if you can just grasp the meaning out of her poetry. Doesnt make a difference...they are the best metal band around. LC forever!

And for the record, I was just watching an other video by them, and there was a person who said their new album has more of their sound....

Personally, I think that person needs to do some Lacuna Coil research or something, because this last album isn't so Lacuna Coil, it's more American to me.

@UrProBitch Call me elitist, but Karmacode and Shallow Life made me cringe. I went to see them live in 2009 and I was furious that they didn't play anything from Unleashed Memories or In A Reverie. Their earlier work had more soul to it and just touched me on so many levels. Nowadays it just sounds so cheap and generic. The only Lacuna Coil in my heart is their earlier days, when they were truly themselves.

I often find that Lacuna Coil is ruined by the male singer. Cristina's voice is great, and if the band had her voice almost exclusively, they'd be higher up on my band list.

Sorry, but have to disagree with you there. Fair enough your entitled to your own opinion, but to me Andrea, brings strong emotional vocals which contrast but flow with Christinas melancholic vocals. I think it works great. Examples from Comalies are Swamped and Tight Rope. I couldnt imagine these songs without Andre on them, even though Cristina has an amazing voice.
