Charice is having a great time with the crowd. You can't hear them cuz the videographer said that he had to go to the back of the audience cuz security was checking for cams. Lantao usually has crystal clear video but had to use his zoom lens from way back, so the crowd is not so vocal back there. But if watch it from a closer angle, then you can hear the crowd singing along in this video...

Folks! Enough about the band for this concert almost 1 1/2 years ago. It's known that the band didn't have much time to rehearse with Charice. It's a shame that this happened for her first solo concert in the US, but that's showbiz.
Also, the conductor and some of the musicians were on the recent Asia David Foster & Friends tour, so I'm sure they are more than competent, but lack of preparation/practice can make anyone look bad.
Give them a break folks and just enjoy Charice's performance.
Yup the band are pants!! Don't think they've rehearsed this song at all. You can clearly see that the drummer is reading dots, which is fine, but at least get the tempo right!! Charice did so well to still be able to sing this song with it being too slow. Those higher register notes require a lot of air flow and breathe control/support. Lighten up about the band and the conductor...they probably had very little time to rehearse. The conductor is the same person who was with the recent David Foster and Friends concerts in Asia with Charice, Peter Cetera, Natalie Cole, etc..
From what I could hear the band was great led by this same conductor. So cut the guy some slack. This was her first solo and he probably had never worked with her before.
I'm looking forward to seeing Charice in Los Angeles on Nov 20 at the Citadel.

@beallo1 - I agree, while all her renditions of Halo are great, Charice's performance at her "Dreams Comes True" Showcase in Thailand 23 July 2010 was phenomenal. Next would be her private performance for US Weekly & Rolling Stone magazines. 3rd, her Valentine's Day full Concert in The Philippines!

WOW.. what a adjustments CHARICE had to put up with... BAND = #FAIL ... And May I remind everyone that Absolutely No ONE person in this world is Perfect! Charice I believe is only 18... This is her time to make all the mistakes she needs to so she can learn from then and possibly write about them later on. PLEASE... do not cast stones. The most she's done is Botox. ahaha. hasn't shaved her head yet or gotten new boobies! ahihihi.

@beallo1 - I agree, while all her renditions of Halo are great, Charice's performance at her "Dreams Comes True" Showcase in Thailand 23 July 2010 was phenomenal. Next would be her private performance for US Weekly & Rolling Stone magazines. 3rd, her Valentine's Day full Concert in The Philippines!

However, her one woman show at Big-E is just so unbelievable for a 17 year old to pull-off, especially with such a bad band, it leaves me in total awe of Charice's character and talent!
