  • Very nice. I have tried making bacon from side pork I bought at a Chinese supermarket. Smoked it in my electric smoker oven. It was pretty good. I also have made ham in a similar recipe by using pork loin. Thanks for a great video!

  • Great video. I would have liked to see the final slicing technique. Do you use a regular meat slicer? I think it would be difficult to slice thin as store bought.

  • @aflarry I bought a used 12" Comercial meat slicer from an equipment liquidator. I can slice it just like a deli. I bought it soley for slicing bacon, and corned beef. If I did not have one, I thought of taking my bacon to my local butcher, and asking if they would slice it for me. Failing that, sharp knife, steady hand, and patience, and so worth it!
