Knitting in ends

Obviously NOT for beginners or those looking for a different way than they already know. She goes WAY too fast, and I missed at least two of the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I'll keep looking.

one question... exactly how does one uses this technique... or why? I'm still new at knitting so I guess you can say I'm no expert but anyone has a pattern or something I can see why this is usefull??? thanks

It's a good way to secure in ends of yarn while you knit, as opposed to weaving them in later. Used if you need to change colours or join a new ball of yarn.

I agree. I'm dying to learn how to knit the ends in, but 1) the video is a bit too fast and 2) it needs to be zoomed in on the actual stitches. Please!

Not enough lead-in explaining what you are doing. Also, it is too fast and hard to get exactly what you're trying to show.
