I have a '93 Judge Dredd Pinball Machine. Although it has a problem where it doesn't stop giving you 5,000,000 points each second so now it just sits.
You don't know traffic in MegaCity 1, there are people that never leave the freeway, they just keep driving for years since they either can't get to the exit or worse they have no home to go to and live in their cars and rv's just drivng around for years hoping they eventually can get an apartment to live in.
Actually, the "ultimate shot in pinball" is still the 1 Billion point shot on Bride Of Pinbot. :)
But Dredd is my second favorite pin of all time, right behind Twilight Zone. Too bad the SuperGame feature was never used again. I quite enjoyed it . The multiball was insane.
Bally/Williams (WMS Industries) made so much money with their video slot machines and other gambling devices that pinball, although profitable, was no longer a priority for them. Stern is the only manufacturer now, and they're making good games. Spiderman, Family Guy, Lord of the Rings, Nascar and World Poker Tour have all been great games made in the past couple of years.
I remember playing this game in the 90s at a skating ring in Daytona Beach. It was pretty sweet. I loved the concept of judge dredd. The villains are so twisted.
To the best of my knowledge no relation to the health club. Bally was a trade name owned by williams/midway manufacturing. They are still in business they make slot machines and other gambling devices.
Didn't know they did intros for pinball games. Like the flatulence joke. Remember the game too, played it in Manchester QZone. I thought it had a good playfield.
I played Judge Dredd Pinball back in the day it's the best fun I have ever had on a Pinball machine

"Acadamy" lol..really?
I wonder why they went all cheap and couldn't get the Stallone Judge Dredd license. The comic book feel is meh.
dvlkcc 9 months ago
@dvlkcc The Stallone movie wasn't made until 1995 I believe

@stronty Yeah, but compared to Necropolis or the Apolcalypse war, traffic duty seems a bit lame. lol

My god, this has to be the most awesome promo that I've ever seen. I actually want this more now.

Twilight Zone is my all time favorite table. Judge Dredd comes in a VERY close second.
Willams/Bally should've made more tables with the Super Game feature.
Diskoboy1974 2 years ago
Does Anita Mann's name sounds something similar...like, "I need a man."
Or anything like that?

I was thinking the same. Probably subversive humor, nice.

Only palyed it once and the flippers were weak. The comics are good, well the old ones anyway, DC made them look way too cartoony
