To clear cache and cookies in Internet Explorer

SOOOOOOO painfully annoying was wondering how to get rid of that voice in an urgent matter, that came out of nowhere, after clearing up my cache and cookies, turned out IT WAS INDEED the GOOGLE TOOLBAR HELPER ADD-ON in INTERNET EXPLORER 9. Problem resolved at last. THANKS FOR THE TIP!!! :)

OMFG! i just did it if it works, you sir are now mine and a bunch of other peoples new best friend....

i tried doing searches in google and never found the solution, hell we even posted on the google boards and even the google people didnt know what to say to us!

To stop the horribly annoying message when you have the Google Toolbar installed; go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs > Manage add-ons > Toolbars and Extensions and disable the Google Toolbar Helper. You don't have to uninstall the toolbar, just disable the toolbar helper.

Hope this helps...it took me about 10 minutes of internet searching to find the answer.

@blhtaz That does not work, I disabled my Toolbar Helper months ago and am still gettung the annoying voice. This is some sort of conflict between Google Toolbar and Gmail Notifier and only Google can fix it.

@elvis459 Sorry to hear that it did not work for you. I know all fixes don't work for every situation, but this one has worked for me and many other people that I know. Please post back and help others if you find another solution that works for you. I kow it has only been a week since I found this, but I have not had any issue with it since doing this and I wsa getting "the voice" at least once a day, sometimes more.

Try uninstalling Google toolbar and re-install. If you get "installation failed" re-boot and it should be there. Worked for me - so far!

I changed to use Mozilla and Google Chrome because I tried to set it like the above but it doesn't recover.

Anyway it's not good for your mental health that the sound suddenly occurs from your headphone.

This voice works randomly AND AUTOMATICALLY on my computer when I'm using the Internet browser, IE8. I have an antivirus installed and ran 2 anti-malware programmes but it didn't help. PLEASE, Youtube REMOVE THIS VIDEO.

This started also happening on a friend's computer a few days ago. Ran virus scan and whatnot, but that voice started appearing as soon as IE was opened.

Finally uninstalled the Google Toolbar, and the thing disappeared.

Why is it doing that? Google toolbar was so useful...

and u were watchin porn but the history is still there so it means the others can see it

and this is a way to delete ur history browser,cookies etc ;)

i know my english isnt perfect and the example was pretty stupid.

@070erwin Yeah but even if you deleted the browsing history it will still be in the polices computer and the little card in the computers hard drive and all the evidence is still in there and the person thats on the name of the computer will be in jail/get busted instead of you.
