  • I love all your videos of the real truth in Oregon. Jobs are at a bare minimum here and the REAL unemployment rate here is at least 25% and still is and it is not 8.3% like they are saying now. Businesses are going out of business left and right and I talk to people in the community at unemployment support groups and many are still out of work. Was just at the beach yesterday and there were thousands there during a day people would of been at work. the truth of the matter is there are no jobs.

  • Good online video media! Need to make around 570 Bucks day a day? About 2600 fulfilled individual users are employing this process right now! Pay a visit to roulettecash == or)

  • Thank you for the truth and how bad it really is here. MSI laid me off in 2009 and because of this I have severe depression and anxiety and no one will hire me for anything and consideres me a damaged person because I use a walker. I have no record and 18 years of job experience and a 4 year degree in Accounting and it means nothing. Employers you will have to pay my welfare the rest of my life if you will not hire me and treat me like dirt without even meeting me. Quest you are very very bad.

  • Thanks for all your videos on how bad things are in the employment world here. The stimulus produced less than 300 jobs in Oregon. It did nothing. It caused everyones unemployment benefit to go down $115.00 a month and that put most people on the street that were already struggling. There are few jobs here and most that you apply for online never call you or have numbers that you can get in touch with someone who answers the phone. Craigslist is bad and most jobs want you to work from your home.

  • Thanks for this post of the truth of how bad things are here in Oregon and the fact that there are few jobs. By answering ads on Craiglist is nothing but trouble. There are scams, lies, and hafltruths on their and non-existant jobs and employers won't call you back no matter how may times you call them. They treat the unemployed horribly whe we did nothing but get laid off because of NAAFTA. I hate it here and have NO MONEY to move. The fact is that things are horrible here for sure.

  • The fact that 6 of the 10 most miserable cities in the United States are in ultra Liberal California is proof that Socialism DOES NOT WORK!!! 6 cities in California have the highest unemployment rates in the country, the highest crime rates in the country, the most depressed home values and governments that are either already bankrupt or on the verge of bankruptcy. California IS NOT THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITY ANYMORE. In fact, you could not pay me enough money to live in that crappy state.

  • Thanks for all the videos of the truth of what is going on in Portland. They keep saying that the jobs are here when there are NO JOBS. Craiglist has nothing but scams and BOTTS that answer and DELETE your resumes. there is nothing but lies and halftruths in the employment world and most have had to turn to welfare here. MSI laid me off in 2009 and cost me with an Accounting degree to have to rely on welfare. All the call center jobs here are gone for something I DID NOT DO AT ALL.

  • I cannot believe things are so bad in Oregon. I keep hearing they are trying to say now there is no unemployment rate which is nothing but a big lie. Unemployment has been cut in half and will put more and more people on the street with no jobs. No one gives a damn. The unemployment office does not care and keep telling us there is work when there is not. The call centers mostly are all gone and the ones that are left won't hire you and blame you for being laid off.

  • I have lived here in Oregon since 1991 and things have never ever been this bad. The REAL unemployment rate is at least 45% or more. I have a 4 year college degree and went from the corporate world to WELFARE and it is sad. There are NO JOBS at all here. You apply online for all these jobs and no one ever calls you back and you call them and never call you back. Many many restaurants have gone out of business in Beaverton where I live and we have the highest forclosure rate in the nation now.

  • hey whats up all those citys used to be manufacturing city no?whats going on, you guys only buy crap at wall mart that sell siht made in the third world.

  • they should put a $20 tax on each 12 ounce bottle of beer!!

  • Good observations! Glad there are a few people out there who still have a brain.

  • The stimulus did nothing for the unemployed here in Oregon. It created maybe 10 jobs for people. Thousands and thousands of people have lost their jobs due to NAAFTA making it legal for companies to close here and moving the jobs overseas leaving people here with nothing. It happened to me and the employment department does nothing for you and considers you a number and tells you there is no hope for you. I hate what they have done to people in Oregon. We have high high unemployment here!!!

  • Outrage over beer? What's the big deal? Just drink less beer? Better yet, quit drinking

Nothin surprising about what's happening. You only have yourselves to blame. The American Way. Hoorah

  • Hey, bumped into your Channel while I was looking at jobs in Alaska. I really like your style and candidness. You don't seem tainted by stereotyping and tell it like it is. I appreciate your videos. Man, I'd love to live in Alaska. I'm pushing 50 though, and just can't abandon security for great adventures like i used to. I wish you the best up there. Keep these vids coming. thumbs up. ~Wolf

  • I have relatives in Oregon and there are no new jobs. A lot of residents went from the corporate world straight to government assistance. No lie, my relatives best friend in Oregon ran a successful beauty school in 2007. She is now bankrupt and on public assistance. A large amount of chain stores, restaurants, and corporations are shut down there. I guess it is getting worse every month.

  • It is not as bad here in brevard florida, but that is because this is a military county with a huge air force base and corporate headquarters of harris and a bunch of other death/slavery product like companies. Cameras are being installed on every light stop in the last year it is crazy. I led the zeitgeist movement in my area and was told I am on a "watch list". I will be moving from this hell hole soon as the county is so corrupt. Dumping waste into deep water wells to cops tkng pounds of coke

  • I see the Gov't getting ready for forced H1N1 inoculations, a PRIVATE Federal reserve bank issuing all of our currency, an economy being held up by doctored unemployment rates, a war on terror on the edge of spreading across Gaza, Israel, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, and of course FEMA detention centers and security checkpoints on all major existing arteries of travel. I think you have to consider America as your home town and then ask that same question to yourself. ~1984=1776~

  • What?

    Are you kidding me?

The so called FEMA detention centers have been de bunked !

THE FED IS ALREADY PRIVATE YOU MORON !!!!

NEWSFLASH.... THE GOVERNMENT NEVER OWNED THE FED !!!!

THE FED .. IS ... WAS... AND HAS BEEN A PRIVATE ENTITIY !!!

  • las Vegas is over 100 degrees even at dark during summer.

  • wyecee

Yes, and it sucks. The summers last way too long.

  • Not right. This started back in 1913 when Congress lost the balls to control the printing press. The private banks own the printing press and the money controls us. Private banks otherwise known as the Federal Reserve. There's nothing federal about them and they own no reserves. Congress has been bought and paid for: Democrats and Republicans. Deflation is a debt default. We are in deflation/depression right now. Hyperinflation is next and then the Great Depression II.

  • I live in a beautiful corrupt City of Long Beach, New York where organized greed has always defeated disorganized democracy. I agree that Congress does not have the balls to control the printing press, though Congress does not have the balls to control much of anything. Its like Reginold said, the politicians will basically say anything to get what they want from the "free money" being handed out to the states. We should all be watching the watchers (Fed Reserve) & watching the Banksters.

  • Yeah, it rips my heart out to see Goldman Sachs controlling America. Paulson received $500 million from Goldman before taking over the Treasury job and then he threatened to blow up the stock market if Congress didn't cough up the $700 Billion. He also gave himself a $200 million tax exemption from the TARP money. Goldman Sachs is stealing $200 million a day in the U.S. stock market with their market manipulation computer trading program. They also received $12.8 Billion through AIG's TARP funds

  • THE ANSWER IS ....

FIND THE PROGRESSIVES IN BOTH PARTIES ....

    AND REMOVE THEM ALL!!!

McCain, Obama, Clinton, Spector, Grahm, Kerrey, Pelosi, .......

This would be a good starting point !!

  • hek211

Obama didn't create this bad economy. Stop trying to blame this shit on a black man. Bush fucked us all.

  • what does his color have to do with his unprecedented spending? NOTHING.

  • stonescourt3

Obama being a black man has everything to do with how the media keeps talking shit about him and putting him down every 5 minutes. They didn't do this the whole time Bush was fuckin up the country with this senseless wars and all the stupid fuckin things he had to say.

  • You must be hallucinating, 5year.

the state-run media helped elect Obama.

    They worship this man.

Bush's every slip up was immediately pounced upon.

  • ridiculous! the media LOVES obama. besides, where is anyone stating that that obama's color has anything to do with him? it's his marxist views and bad attitude that are deplorable. no government should tell its people how to spend their money to this degree, especially by giving it to other people. they need to stay out of my pocket. im charitable--i can make my own decisions in that regard, thank you.

  • ARE YOU INSANE????

OR DID YOU JUST GET HERE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY???

So you are saying the media is bashing Obama?

    Dont you mean praising him?

And did you miss the FACT that Bush bashing was a national passtime for the last 8 years????

How did you miss nearly every major Hollywood celeb taking constant shots at BUSH for * STRAIT YEARS ???

At every single award show someone always managed to mix a little Bush bashing in with their acceptance speech..

    WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

  • The only one playing RACE CARD IS OBAMA....

Obama did it against the Clintons....

DID YOU MISS THAT FAMOUS CLIP OF BILL CLINTON SAYING AND I QUOTE.....

"THEY PLAYED THE RACE CARD ON ME"

  • I live in Las Vegas, it sucks! The unemployment rate is above 10%, the foreclosures are way up. Every other house in my community was foreclosed on and I live in an upper middle class neighborhood. Gaming and tourism is also down. Vegas use to be recession proof, but not anymore. Even the casinos have been laying off employees. I am originally from California, I miss it.

  • california unemployment is pretty high as well. I think it's 11%. Foreclosure is high here as well.

But the weather is better than Vegas.

  • linhh82

I know that the unemployment rate is higher here in Las Vegas. So are the foreclosures. And you are right, the weather in Cali is WAY better than Las Vegas. The people in Cali are better too. The people from Las Vegas suck. They don't call this place just west of the Mississippi for nothing, if you know what I mean.

  • I knew this day was coming I quit smoking because of the huge tax. I live in ny and a pack is about $9.50 now.

I quit smoking a year ago.

Drinking is a whole other thing I guess I will buy what I can afford if it goes up real high then I will quit.

  • Worst City for me is a toss up between DC - cause the people there are unbearable and the city is covered with bums and gets scary or Detroit because it is really run down and for a city with almost a million people it looks dead and depressing.

  • Omg Memphis! I live in Nashville, and I have to travel to that city to get to work every day. You can't travel through certain neighborhoods without fear of being shot, unless you originally lived their. Shoes on power lines every where(the shoes represent drug houses), prostitutes, homeless people blocking traffic for money, people getting robbed at gunpoint and the police really don't give a fuck. I've been robbed 3 times after exiting my car, and no one does shit about it.

  • haha, Cleveland made the list. I went to school there and was miserable, the lack of sunlight triggered depression. I live in DC now and absolutely love it. My favorite city! I also grew up in Pittsburgh, and while it's not fantastic, it's still got charm. I love Pittsburgh, too :-)

  • $4 per pint to $6 a pint? We already pay that in California.

Oregon has super low taxes, quit yoru fucking whining

  • feed the rich and fuck the poor!!!

  • Stockton looks like a foreign country. It has such racial inequality and lack of things to do that it ends up being miserable there.

  • aAT 1:43 YOU ARE DEAD ON!!

  • To me, the worst city I've ever been to is Milwaukee.

  • Why do you like Alaska?

  • That is not good that alcohol is going to be tax even more. Most likely, I will boycott on these drinks and sitck with water and powered drinks. Who needs Ciroc or Bacardi anyway?

  • WORLDWIDE

    New Job During The RECESSION?

    - Make Money Flipping Domains On The Internet !

  • Tax the Rich, Feed the Poor, 'till there are No Rich, No Mo... :-)

  • There is no such thing as FREE money. It's stolen money, stolen from one citizen group and distributed to other citizens with the government extracting a major portion as a transaction fee. Is that right ?AC

  • @tj5555555 and than spenden on fucking nonsense wars like all us-wars ...

  • 1900% tax increase??? That's ridiculous, and I don't even drink beer.

  • What did I miss? How many new jobs? Cut that many new jobs. YA THINK?

  • Philidelphia & Detroit are pretty big shitholes... they are usually last on the list of all measurements of lifestyles...

  • Some parts of Philly are cool as hell. Depends what your scene or world is--it isn't even remotely in the same class as Detroit.

  • I so pose every city, such as Philly has it's hotspots..

  • Romans 12:19-21 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good

  • I live in a what was a real estate boom city in California. I know it's bad but the thing is the deception here is sooo thick. If God didn'y open my eyes and other people weren't so new conscience I would be in a distracted bubble just like the majority of the peole that live in this city. God have mercy... Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them...

  • I'm from Atlantic City. Although Trump is being focused on right now for the bankruptcy situation, they're really not doing the worst here. Resorts Entertainment , which was the first casino ever built in AC, is having a lot more problems with possible foreclosure. Its gotten so bad that some casinos are considering being seasonal only! With how empty some off the casinos here have been, I'd say now is the best time to come to Atlantic City as well !!!

Thanks for the very informative video.

  • I'm in Reno, NV. The university is cutting the budget by 49%! They're even closing down the writing lab (odd since English is a required class). Surprise surprise, the athletic department is getting increased funding.

Other than the school, a lot of the casinos are shutting down and a bunch of the tourist sites. I work for a large group health coverage company and we've lost several companies...not looking too good.

  • athletic department gets an increased funding because they want to sell more tickets. university is now more into business than education.

  • hay remember high scool is mostly ran by jocks and preps! so thats a obveous no shit

  • M.e.m.p.h.i.s.

  • Hello. I live in the country north of the border where there are corn and wheat fields every where. I love where I live.

  • take from the rich

  • Eat the poors!

  • looking good without the glasses !! good work.

  • For those of u who believe in America, the America that exsisted on paper is no more. the private banks have bought and burned the constituion. Are any of u concerned that we have not seen what is in this bill that Pres Obama has just signed? Anything that is done with such urgency and swiftness. I tend to be a bit leery of......This could be another Patriot act....we just don't know because we have not been privy to that information....What are your thoughts???

  • my thoughts,,the longer we forestall united public resistance, the closer we come to forcefully restoring our nation,,provided anyone wants to be bothered,,in which case, the Dark Ages begin

  • @ trinity1022

The bill is like a giant piñata. The items inside are a mystery to all. Even the manufacturer is uncertain as to exactly what it is stuffed with. But hey, when the time is right, we'll throw a big party and crack that thing open. yippeeeeeeee! But seriously, we can't oppose what we don't know. That is what this is all about.

  • Cali is cutting 20, 000 jobs in the area of correction and mental health.CAN WE SAY MARTIAL LAW!!! Particularly, given the most recent court decision that is requiring the release of 50, 000 prisoners b/c of overcrowding in the prisons. i have already begun to stock pile food, water and other necessities. we have only seen the beginning of this ugly monster. i believe that this plan is going to be implemented in many phases. This is phase 1, part A..wait it is going toget very very bad.

  • Alabama is doing better than many areas because our jobs are diversified and we never had the hyper growth, like Atlanta. The only people hurting here are those tied closley to the construction industry. Ya'll come see us!

  • For the moment I am safe. Don't know how long that will last.

  • West Texas is starting to see hard times, 2 car dealerships have closed. People are afraid especially the elderly. I go to the senior center and many there are worried they may not be able to make it if it gets any worse. Many retirement plans are just gone leaving our elderly high & dry.

  • I live in Fairbanks, and I'm feeling chancy about this summer. I've been in Alaska for 16 years, most of my life (21), and if you've been here long you know that most of our economy in the summer is tourist driven. Sure, we get a lot of international tourism but up in Fairbanks it's mostly Japanese and German due to some special airlines deal. I'm worried. I know our economy is pretty balanced, but with rumors of 'no dividend' the bush communities are going to be hit hard. Not good.

  • Good report thats an interesting list of cities in your info. Thanks as always.

  • Central Texas is OK. Jobs still here, businesses opening, not closing. Price of food going up and crime is just up a little bit. Otherwise I think we're pretty resilient down here. Feel sorry for ya if you're in LA or Detroit.

  • I used to live in Point Venture! I sure miss Texas folk. Good to here Texas is doing good. best of luck to ya!

  • I'm near L.A.

Could be a lot of trouble, I don't know.

I Wish I were in Alaska, like you!

One of our main streets, in between one city and the next one over, sure has a lot of empty buildings on it...

I'm doing what everyone else is doing: garden going, lots extra food/water on shelf (if it turns out I don't need it, then I'll just "rotate the inventory" and use it up.), etc. It doesn't hurt to be prepared.

  • cleveland #4!! at least its not #1. I hate it here!

Its the nastiest, dark(cloudy), boring city ever! I feel like I live in Gotham, but w/ no super heroes.

Detroit is worse, but cleveland is terrible.

  • Thanks for the video Demcad, especiaaly the Governor Paterson link. I live in New York and I'm mad as hell.

On another note: NY gun dealers are making out like bandits now with Obama. Their inventory is flying off the shelves, and everything is backordered, some gun stores here on Long Island are price gouging and charging $100 to transfer a handgun when $25 is the normal fee. It's crazy, you can't get a shotgun locally.

  • I moved to a town with 10,000 people. It's 60 miles away from any major city. It's in the South. Rural. Near farms. Low CRIME! No murders. We have a small police force mostly hometown boys.. Neighbors care about each other.

I hated it at first but now I'm so HAPPY! I don't worry about riots ever breaking out. Everyone even the 78 year old widow next door owns a gun. People here see the "great Depression" and are planting gardens. But there are NO Jobs and lots of business closings.

  • @gusmosnas gus i admire the colesness of your town, although it seems scary to me about the guns and stuff. What many small towns are doing are just going back to farming and creating their own power sources from windmills and stuff.

  • no glasses ha haaa good look dude

  • i agree i think the whole state soverignty thing is about the bailout money, not real ideological reasons.

  • I live near modesto and stockton and can believe those are on the top of the list

  • thanks for the post!! I think the city im in right now is fine but will eventually be horrible when the economy gets worse! I'm in a college town in Michigan. Obviously college kids keep blowing money like idiots so the stores are doing fine so far. When shit hits the fan it probly wont be safe.

  • oppressive taxes, little to no industry, government health police cracking down on margarine and soda...yea- every city in NY could have made the list.

  • Everything is getting hit hard...including the market..new lows this week???

  • i live in town n country in tampa fl. its a suburban area. we are not having more break ins here.

  • Hey Reg! You're starting to become one of my favorite people here on you tube. You cover the stories that interest me and you provide links. Gotta say, you rock dude! Thank you.

Did you nail down that job in your area that you talked about?

Back when I was a cummins engine mechanic I was asked to go to alaska but I said "no way man". A lot of my coworkers came back with stories of terrible working conditions and massive hours during the long days.

  • 2.

One of my coworkers was even sort of kidnapped. He fixed right hand engine in a fishing boat (while the other one was going full throttle 2 feet away) and then once he had it going, the owner wouldn't take him back to port. He said "Yer a fisherman now bub, get yer ass up on deck!" It was like that Kipling novel, Captains Courageous. He didn't escape for a week!

  • My area (western Washington) is still doing rather well, considering. Jobs are disappearing though. It's just happening a little slower here. I'm hoping that will give me time to get my neighbors to stock up before the collapse.

I got 4 more frs radios on order so that will make 9 total. With that amount, we should be able to use 4 for each guard shift while the other 4 are charging. The base station will stay in the cabana. I'm stacking bags of rice to the ceiling now, to share with neighbors.

  • Yes, I did. Thanks.

  • South orange county CA is doing ok for now. No big changes yet. stay tuned.

  • Maybe they'll make a more in depth list in the future: "Most miserable American in America's most miserable cities."

  • Great stuff, Dem!
