  • Wow. Like Steve Reich but interesting.

  • @leehazlewoodism Ouch. Steve Reich felt that one.

  • Que bonita melodia, cuando la escucho me transmite mucha serenidad, paz y me llena el alma.

  • Incredibly powerful...

  • BUY THE CD !!!!!!! .....it is utter bliss wrapped in cardboard!!!

  • oh this is really beautiful, gracias

  • Pas vrai, Jimmy ?

  • im open to experimental music but this leaves me cold.technically brilliant im sure but it seems a dead end to me.

  • Wow, I have the exact opposite reaction.

  • But to each his/her own.

  • @bradshawvincent obviously you are not open to experimental music then!!!

    nice try tho

At least you watched it more than most people can say!!!

  • @chungazrevenge well yes im more drawn to a melody structure that gives me some kind of emotional response ie miles davis but no one would accuse him of not having been experimental in his field! this reminds me a bit of captain beefhearts troutmask replica, which i love.

  • I (not just me) get to play with Evan Parker in January, should be cool. Very experimental stuff..

  • its so weird...what are they trying to do with this piece???

  • harmony comes sometimes through chaos

  • I've seen evan parker live in ccb lisbon last year and it was simply awesome

  • WOW, i wish i was trippin and an inch away from those sound holes one on either side. this is awesome sound

  • wow.. that was.. weird?

    interesting...

i suppose some years from now i'll may apreciate this.

  • this is delightful...i need more recordings of both of these masters...

  • this is nice . Ned and Evan have a nice conversation. I wish i had seen this show, the music certainly is going somewhere. In response to the previous post concerning this clip, it is safe to say that the duet requires a listener to stop thinking about "jazz" and even stop expecting "free jazz" to have recognizable form.Listen closely and hear how the two wind players weave together.

Maybe you just dont like this type of music, thats OK too, just dont waste time putting it down.

  • Great performance!

  • good performance

  • a great stream of musical informations - as this times are...
