But the US has not done much in this situation I think because it is a very sticky situation with Mexico. The US is taking the easy way out on this one and operating through diplomatic channels as not to upset the applecart with Mexico. I think it will take the cartel violence getting worse in the US before US government does much to intervene in this so called war on drugs.

They will go half way around the world to Irak or some middle east country or wherever and stick the USA's nose into everyone's bussiness, but the US government seems not to want to be involved in what is happening much closer to home. Mexico is our friend, trading partner, etc and the US just stands by and does not seem to do much. I wish Mexico would ask for and allow the US to help eradicate the cartels, drug production.

That wife has the blood of the Mexican police officer on her hands. If she had not pressed the MEXICAN government that police officer would still be alive. Her husband was shot and died instantly but that poilce officer died horribly just so that wife could get a dead body back.

Then the husband gets shot and what really pisses me off is the wife complains to the Mexican governnment about wanting her husbands body back. The Mexican government assigned a Mexican police officer to the case and he is brutally murdered and beheaded by someone for looking into the case.....
