@Allenryan819 You lucky 90's kid.... I lived the very late 90's and the early 2000's, maybe to the 2005, and when I was watching Finnish sketch shows first season, made in 1991-1993 I started realizing something is different.

This makes me feel somehow so strange. It looks like captured from a good mobile phone camera but it's in the 80's. It was just filming around, just like now, they had no idea what the world is like in the 2000's. It feels so like these days. There isn't any 80's Clichés, like in movies example. It's a strange feeling indeed, I can't really describe it. It's somehow so "close", but it's still far away in the 80's. Somehow so real, unlike those movies.

I see this video was recorded in 1987. So were you using a film camera or a video camera? Video cameras back in those days were huge - you had to carry then on your shoulder while shooting and eventually your shoulder got tired. They were also very expensive, not to mention the quality was poor by today's standards.

@KillaSlug: Brooklyn (and most of New York) was a dump back in the 70s and 80s. Major urban blight and few jobs, plus high crime rates. Sure the music and cars of the time were cool, but you are looking at history through rose tinted glasses. I suppose you would want to live in Harlem around this time as well?

Not to mention a good deal of todays economy cars like the XB and Soul don't even get 30 on the highway, my $900 gets that and it has a bigger engine!

@Ryoku75 yes thats true... not only with chrysler, but with any modern day manufacturer. the truth is, cars like mine and yours, if they are cared for correctly, they will most likely outlive any car produced today. its because cars have become so dependent on computers, and so cheaply produced, which means that when todays cars become old, and their computers start breaking down, their systems will be very obsolete, and nearly impossible to replace. i don't want to live in a world like that.
