@sjmed1208 Yea iPod touches and iPhones require them to have been jail broken with openssh installed. Its a whole other process.

you are a gimp, all this does is creates a shortcut for each track to your ipod from your libary. your ipod still needs to be connected. for those people that want to do this correctly, follow Dereks instructions up until you see all the folders that contain your ipod music and copy these folders into your music on your computer. then drag the folders into intunes from your computer, not your ipod

hey i have a question i dragged the song out of the folders into itunes and when i tried to eject my ipod it said that files on the computer where needed by the ipod so i couldn't eject the ipod. So i just unpluged it without ejecting. All the songs remained in the itunes but when i tried to play them it wouldn't work. Please help. Oh and your vidieo was very good anyways!

just though i would add this...after you loaded your music back on your pc, go on itunes preference menu...click on advance tab and there should be an option to organize your music...this option will rename the files back to normal in the file location...example (KMOG to songname.mp3)
