Opposed to Bross's full out. Not nearly as difficult..plus bross takes huge steps out of her tumbling passes it's not appealing

Yes it can. Yes, she has only four passes and shawn has five BUT, look at Beccas last 2 passes. To connect a D with an A, B,or C skill is an extra tenth bonus. First pass= B+D and last pass D+B; Rebecca deserved her gold.

Bross isn't the most artistic gymnast, but she has much more dance than Shawn, also, Bross's leaps are MILES better than Shawn's so too are her turns. Comparing these tumbles to Shawn's 2007 tumbles are VERY similar, actually.
can you list the deductions for us? because they had the same difficulty score and her execution was just a little bit better than Shawn's (it came down to the leaps and Rebecca had more amplitude and hit the 180)
Well, technically, they both have the same A-Score (6.100). Although Shawn has been given a 6.2, still thats only one tenth diffrence that could easily be made up in execution.
It was a very good routine for her... I still think shes a bit rough on her dance, and it was very repetitive, but I really like her music, and I think she makes it work. Shes still very young though, but lets hope WOGA can help turn her into something great for the future.

Comparison:
1) Bross actually HITS 180
2) Bross has square hips
3) Bross pushes into the split position much more aggressively than Shawn.

Bross doesn't do a full out, she does a half-in-half-out. It is also much more dynamic than Shawn's double double (which is good too of course.)
Bross's passes as a whole are more difficult than Shawn's.
Bross:
E, C, C, (0.1), B, D (0.1), D, B (0.1) = (2.6)
Johnson:
G, C, B, C, E, D = (2.4)
If you want to take out the 'B's it;s 2.3-2.4
I don't agree with Bross's huge steps, however she lands first and then lunges into them, there was no sign of lack of control andno deduciton
