I think that the creationists need to learn the difference between religious beliefs, and scientific theory. Scientific theory has facts and evidence supporting it. Such as Evolution, we CAN see it happening in the genetic mutations of plants and animals. Also the fossil records, and carbon dating. A religious belief is just that, a belief. I have no problem with creationists, or their religion. Until they start refuting the FACTS.
For me this is very simple: If you believe in creationism, then God is NOT perfect. And if God is not perfect then he doesnt exist. Because: If God has to intervene with his creation then he did a lousy job the first time, which leads to God is not perfect!. However; if you are a attest, or you believe on a higher power (God) with created all laws of Nature and physics, and did not intervene after the big bang, then you are on dry ground, and you can combine that with Darwinism.

And when I realized that, I gave up the silly notion that spirituality and the findings of science are in conflict.
