Surprised no one has said that Kevin Hearn wrote this about his battle with Cancer. When you know this some of the lyrics make a lot more sense- well some anyway. Congrats to Kevin on "beating the cancer beast" and to his band mates for keeping his seat warm
i have 2 copies of this cd....cuz some wierdo gave it to me for christmast..2 years in a row... i remember finding this track and abhoring it. Can't rock out to elevator music
I'm so sad! I have this album, but not the Limited Edition one... How else does the Limited Edition differ from the regular edition? I absolutely LOVE BNL!
This album is a masterpiece, it's very special.

THis is the most surprising track on the Maroon record.

I have a correction for you. "this duration. This duration of our lives." It's not Duration, it's enduration. As in, enduring something.

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Best Barenaked Ladies song by far. The only songs that really come close are "
Call and answer" and "Jane". This song sounds like the Flaming Lips

greeaaaaaat song. i used to listen to it a lot, but it was my sisters CD, and she moved out, and took it with her.
one thing: second little verse. sounds to me more like : And it sunk in, this enduration. enduration of our lives.
makes more sense in context, too!

Personally, this is my favourite song of all time. Truely the most touching and heartfelt song I've ever heard (especially the chorus).

@princess7strawberry The only difference is this song tacked on to the end.

I personally didn't like this one. It kinda weirded me out, and since it wasn't the last song I couldn't skip it on my CD player.
