conspiracy skeptics are a funny bunch. how many times do they have to hear that a witness testimony was "discounted" or a news story was pulled because their on-the-scene-eye-witness FACTS contradicted the OPINIONS of the warren commission - guys who weren't anywhere NEAR dealey plaza that day? how many of these reports of suppressed evidence will it take before the penny finally drops and they smell a rat?
Notice that this photo was not taken from the 6th Floor of the TSBD. It appears to have been taken from The 3rd Floor of the DalTex Bldg., long suspected of being the location of one of the snipers. Life magazine originally published this photo, or one similar to it, and captioned it as being taken from "the sniper's nest". Subsequent photos that were published were taken from the TSBD, and this photo was never mentioned again.
@IwshIcldstrtover You're right on this one. This si a view from the 6th Floor. However, the Life" photo" of the sniper's nest, as originally published, was taken from the DalTex. I have a copy of that issue of Life (actually, a number of issues from that period).
@IwshIcldstrtover I'll have to go back through my collection, but it was one that was published almost immediately after the assassination. When I find the date of the issue, I'll let you know.
@Dogheadj This would be the Nov. 29, 1963 Memorial Edition. You are mistaken, though, as the photograph taken was indeed from the 6th floor TSBD building, not the Dal Tex. The photograph you are referring to, I believe, appeared in The Saturday Evening Post magazine.
@IwshIcldstrtover So you are saying that such a photograph was published; was taken from the DalTex: and described as the "snipers nest"? I've already stated that you are correct about THIS particular photo. See above where I said "You're right on this one". No argument there. The publication COULD be in question, but I'm almost certain I've seen it in my collection of "Life" magazines. I could be wrong.
Let's not butt heads. I think we could work together.
@Dogheadj I don't think we could work together due the the fact that you see a conspiracy with nearly everything regarding this, and I don't. Also, the photograph taken from the Dal-Tex bldg. that I'm referring to shows a vehicle through a rifle scope, looking down Elm Street from one of the lower floors of the bldg. I have had in my possession, every issue of Life Magazine on the assassination, and none of them contained a photo taken from the Dal Tex bldg with a "snipers nest" caption.
@IwshIcldstrtover I reckon you're right after all. If you have an absolutely closed mind, you can't work with anybody, can you. After all, if you're always right, there's no headroom for actually considering other possibilities.
So since you have the assassination straightened out, why don't you reveal it to all of us of lesser intelligence? I assure you, the entire world would be grateful to have the solution to this once and for all and, apparently, you have it.
@Dogheadj And there is the second reason I know we couldnt "work together". You are paranoid, a smart ass and too sensitive toward people who voice their opinion, regarding the assassination. You are allowing a 48 year old murder run your life. Get over it, and move on.
@IwshIcldstrtover Paranoid? How so? Smart ass, you bet. Beats being a dumb ass. You don't state your "opinions" as opinions; you state them as facts. What I'm "sensitive" to is people who spread disinformation. And believe me, although I have been intensely interested in the assassination since the day it happened, it hardly "runs" my life. I can assure you I've led a full life outside of the JFK realm.
@IwshIcldstrtover So you ARE admitting that such a photograph exists. Taken from the 3rd Floor of the Dal-Tex, I believe. Which is exactly the description given in my earlier post.. Stop with the obfuscation tactics. Are you interested in getting to the heart of the matter, or only in defending your position?
Level with me. Do you believe there was a conspiracy? If so, who was involved? If not, you and Gerald Posner have closed the case for all the rest of us, right?
@IwshIcldstrtover I have admitted I was mistaken regarding this particular photo. A search of saturday Evening Post "Sinpers Nest" photos turns up nothing, either. But I still maintain that a picture taken from the Dal-Tex Bldg. was published in one of these (I believe Life, but maybe not) magazines and was identified as the "snipers nest. It only happened one time. When the official "story" became 6th Floor TBSD, presto, chango - now you see it, now you don't.
Civic leaders--"Don't Rock the Boat,"...... Bang----------Bang-Bang!!!!
Mary is a "Double Bang" witness....I believe she was also a "Limo Slowed" witness.
She also said, that she thought the shots came from the "Grassy Knoll."
Mary's front row observances--were ignored???---I wonder why....

@Dogheadj Wrong again. The photo was taken from the 6th floor window of the TSBD.

It is simply incredible that this first-hand witness was not called by the Warren Commission
