I don't know what you people are talking about, this doesn't hold a candle to the original, this guy has hardly any vocal range, sounds like nickleback or something. Iron maiden is metal, this sounds like rock. The only way you could think this is better than the original is if you preferred this kind of music to proper metal.

Ok 1: this band does not suck, seen them live 3 times and they are THE shit. 2: personally Simpson is a better singer than Dickinson, now before all Maiden fans get their knickers in a twist I said SINGER not taking anything away from Dickinson as a frontman (seen Maiden live too) and as a frontman YES he is better. Fightstar are FANS of Maiden and wanted to do a cover of a Maiden song. Bet if you did a cover of one of your fav bands you'd think you did a pretty good cover......Right or wrong??

In Simpsons defense, I really like his voice when he's not screaming, he has a great melodic voice.

First to comment lol, i think this is a good cover. Charlie's voice is pretty cool i think. A mix of his own style and Bruce's in terms of the pronounciation of some of the words, especially at the beginning. The best cover however on the Tribute album has to be Machine Head's version of Hallowed Be Thy Name. Still a good cover from Fightstar!!!!
