If you're still stuck on the hard horn problem, you can get one from a monster on the Green Ruins B3 that casts fire magic.

You have to get a wand/staff. You can get a fire staff from the old guy that lives in the clock tower by doing a quest for him.

you either forge a wand then use the special ( A+B ) or u can get the fire rods from Kanno just givwe him the stuff he asks for. but it takes alot of rune points depending on which staff it is yea i can tell ya more but it miight be too long

Yes, in the game, you can befriend a wolf. You can ride it to. You can befriend chicken things, wool things, cow things, apparently called "Buffamoo". You can befriend lots of things, they can help you fight to. But you have to feed them or else they will like you less. (I am having a problem where feed won't go into my bin...) Its fun.
