She was better at 17,already small wobble, PECATO, and who gave her the idea to do the recitativo like that it is awful, couple more years and she is out..
I had 48 years of operatoic career and 25 as voice teacher, so I think i have some idea.
@dorothy76 ugh i think she has a real interesting voice and i wanna disagree with you and hope this is a bad night, but yeah, there is a wobble and she def sounds like shes working to keep it all together.
Great voice, but some mannerism and notes that are simply not there... I hope she realises that her beautiful voice is enough for people to notice her and that all she has to do is interpret what's on the score, and nothing else.
@foropera René Jacobs, the counter-tenor/conductor, might be very famous and even be a good musicologist, but adding anything to the music of Mozart is, in my modest opinion, a waste of time as it is perfect as it is. I appreciate your comment, but remain of my opinion: no need for ornamentation.
What a JOY to hear a conductor that doesn't push the soprano to sing EVERYTHING so FAST that the coloratura becomes a mess!!!!!! This girl is great!!!
I like how Rene Jacobs intends Mozart!

@Flaviat57
Do you know René Jacobs, a rather famous baroque conductor? He asks for these extra notes.
She is absolutely OK to sing this ornamentation as musicologists work after all, give her reason to do so.
