i agree, im sooo tired of seeing these new "skins" fans from Hawaii. More like worshipers of a 6th round pick. I know he was great in college, but the fact is that he was a system QB. Chang has the NCAA record for INT's, Colt has the record for TD passes (in 3 years). Chang was running the RnS since HS, Colt hadn't run it till he got to Hawaii. Chang was a product of the system, Brennan is a bad ass QB that happened to be put in the RnS. There's no comparison. Are all QB's that come out of the same school the same? If that's the case the NFL should pick Tennessee QB's #1 every year. Like one of the other Hawaii news casts said, funny colors, same results for Colt.

Your Bad ass Qb is not ready yet. Do you know anything about Football? Understand, that the skin fans and especially Coach Zorn know how talented he is but he is too RAW, Zorn needs to polish him or he'll just mess up when it counts (Sugar Bowl). He played well in a preseason game against people who won't even make the team. Hawaii fans are really getting on everyones nerves around here that they can't understand putting Colt in now won't benifit both the Redskins or Colt.

How many times have we seen college players who were expected to do something, turn into somebody else when they go pro. We've seen people do nothing, and we've seen people like Tom Brady make magic. Judge based on nfl game film, not what he did when he wasnt in the nfl.

I dont understand Zorns reasoning. Colt is fighting to be a 3rd string QB. Should he throw the ball out of bounds and hit the sidelines. No he said lets just have fun and do what I do. Make plays and get the ball exactly where it needs to be because Iam the most accurate QB in college football and now the NFL.

Seems like the Washington coach is kind of a dick. There was only one throw where he took a risk and when he held on to the ball too long and got sacked. Other than that, i thought he played great. Good job Colt!

He's not going to play in the college ranks. If he wants to play as a starter he can't just sling the ball around. The redskins play in the NFC EAST and if colt threw that pass against Dallas or the eagles Secondary that would be picked off. Colt has RAW talent but he needs time, its only one preseason game and don't call the Redskins coach a dick since he was the one who wanted colt in the first place. If it wasn't for Zorn no one would have drafted him or gave him a shot.

Colt did have some good luck throwing into coverage like that, but we've come to expect that from him. I agree - that pass could have easily been picked off, but maybe Colt knew what he was doing by threading the needle like that. We've seen him do it many times.

As for Zorn - I think he likes Colt alot but wanted to downplay the amazing performance that Colt had. He still has 2 QBs before him, y'know? ;)

Zorn actually loves Colt- but he's practicing some tough love.

The worst thing you can do with a supremely talented but hard headed rookie is to praise him for making a dangerous play that turns out well. That's how bad habits are reinforced.

In 4 years Colt will be one of the best starting QBs in the league (either for the Skins or someone else) and he will owe a debt of gratitude to Zorn for his tough love in the early days.
