This is my favorite DW theme . Phobe Snow is so good . The first season was bland it was a great idea dropping Lisa Bonet and going in another direction for the show.

I watched this show all the way up to where Jada Pinkett stars, and from that moment on, it was prejudiced. Not a very smart way to get a point across if you ask me.

Yes, Phoebe Snow has a very sultry voice, that combines so well with the harmonica in this original "A Different World" theme. Admittedly during the successive seasons, the show improved, but this was without a doubt its best theme. Aretha Franklin didn't quite capture the spirit I think of new students leaving home, and going to college, thus having a new domicile.

lisa bonet was married to singer lenny kravitz they have a daughter named "ZOE" zoe is also an actress like her mom,she did a few movies and appeared in jay z's video for the american gangster soundtrack,i last saw her when we did season 2 of "YO MOMA" on mtv her clip is on here somewhere,as well as mine,i like the second opening credits for this show better.
