I used to like McCain. He still is a war hero but I don't like him. I can't believe he is so against us vets,he was one of us!When he was against the new GI Bill I lost all respect for him as a politician.

He is not a war hero, it is a myth he perpetuated. If you actually look into his military history, you will find that he crashed several planes due to incompetence and generally rode his father's connections to skate through his service. The history of this bratty despicable troll may have been best summed up in Dickinson's article: Make Believe Maverick. Look it up and give it a read, its eye opening.

Well I'm an Iraq vet,and an Afghanistan vet. and a member of IVAW, and I think McCain is a complete jackass, I respect his service, but that's about where it ends. How can you turn your back on your own? I did my time, 13 years time in service and 3 tours in the mideast and I am opposed to the war in Iraq. The Iraqis want us out, 80% of America wants us out, 72% OF OUR OWN TROOPS IN IRAQ want us OUT....so WHO is keeping us in Iraq?
