I just got done watching a program about his life on national geographic channel. As an american i knew very little about him until watching the program but after seeing it I now realize how great of a man he was. Massoud was a Tajik and an Afghan. The Tajiks are the second largest of several ethnic/lineage groups in Afghanistan, smaller in size only than the Pashtuns (40%). So it's absolutely wrong to say he wasn't Afghan. I can tell you, given his sacrifice for the country, he and millions of Afghans probably wouldn't appreciate your comment :)

I just got done watching a program about his life on national geographic channel. As an american i knew very little about him until watching the program but after seeing it I now realize how great of a man he was.
