@mrboppman1 All kidding aside.... bitter melon seriously will curtail your blood sugar, and lessen urination. eat rhree inches of one side a day...it's not all that bitter i do it with no problem
Meh, it's not so bad after the first bite or so....just raw with seeds is best for "the 'betes".....I guess....only found it twice, so couldn't really tell. I can almost never find it anywhere in any store, Asian or otherwise.
My favorite vegetable ever... I love frying it with olive oil and salt... Love it. Just make it thinner though. Thinner more slice more flavor is better than thicker less slice.
Really... you really need a scoop to take out the seed...? WOW!... Either I'm a caveman and don't know that tools exist or I'm a genius and find that its ridiculous to use a scoop when you can use your hand... did you buy that egg cracker too...? And the garlic unwrapper roll...? Hahaha... Wow.
I eat it raw. Pickeled with sea salt carribean pepper sauce and vinegar. I first had it cooked in Trinidad. I didn't like it, but something about it kept calling me and now I eat it a few times a year.
Something about pickled bitter melon with the above said ingredients that sounds delicious. I had it the other day with spare rib and other assorted veg in a soup like dish, delicious.
