  • i had sudden flashbacks to eurovision

  • Of course he is british. American people don't really learn foreign languages at school. They do it obviously just for the fun of it

  • mdr il peut vraiment parler francais hein

  • trolling at it's finest

  • And the Emmy goes to some guy I've never heard of.

  • The guy who won was in House was't he? As the psych when House gets put into an institution?

  • He's good :) Really, I'm from Quebec

  • Qué tipo tann pelotudoooo !

  • salinas esta ah 0:50

  • Hugh Laurie is the best xdddddd

  • Anyone else feel like they're watching a Eurovision presenting couple in the making? :-D

  • @DarthJedi2005remixes Hahahah, i thought the same thing hahah

  • It's strange to hear Hugh Laurie speaking with an American accent! And he speaks French.

  • @mozgren He's British, not an American.

  • @MrNiek Yes I know. So am I. Hugh Laurie's best role was in Blackadder with Rowan Atkinson (later known as Mr Bean). Google under "Hugh Laurie Blackadder Youtube."

  • @mozgren

But why do you mention an American accent, he doesn't has one(so far I know).

  • @MrNiek He had to learn american accent for House M.D.

  • @MrNiek I learned English from my dad who is English. 'English' is the language spoken by the English and there are many dialects and accents here which even more incomprehensible, even to an Englishman, than the American dialect. Few Americans were aware that Hugh Laurie is English (born in Oxford) before he was interviewed He's been known here for years before as a comedy actor and comedian with Stephen Fry (see 'A Little Bit of Fry and Laurie').

  • @mozgren @zVenFTW

I understand now, I'm dutch so its hard for me to hear the difference.

So first I didn't understand your reaction, but now I understand.

    Thx :)

  • @MrNiek If English is not your first language it's unlikely you will be able to detect easily the difference in accents.

  • @mozgren No problem!

  • @mozgren His french accent is like a Canadian french accent

  • Hugh Laurie is so freaking AWESOME! And sexy too.

  • Poof... cinq!

    XD

  • Absolutely brilliant :D

  • JET' AIME DR HOUSE HAHAHHA MERCI....tU' ME MANQUES..

  • He speaks french with a really good accent. I'm impressed !

  • @rrrrko real french and that's what's funny lol

  • is that actually french or something that sounds french?

  • he could be vincent cassel's twin brother here

"You know... Every year the academy has the difficult task of winnowing literally hundreds of stunning performances down to a meagre list of just five."

  • poof... cinq.

  • pff cinq...hehehehe

  • please somebody tells me what laurie said :D:D

  • @veresviola Think he is translating..

  • @veresviola "Mr. Laurie and I are both very very proud of presenting an award in such a prestigious ceremony." "Mr. "You know... Every year the Academy" "Vous savez que chaque année, l'Académie..." "has the difficult task..." "a la tache presque impossible..." "...of winnowing..." "De...'winnowing'......" "literally hundreds of stunning performances down to a meagre list of just five." "Pouf! Cinq"
  • @0299792458 haha :D:D thank you very much :)))

  • @veresviola

Maybe I'm wrong about something because I'm spanish but I think that's it.

  • Funny!!!

  • what I remember from french class is "Je ne sais pas"

  • I think my vagina just had a seizure

  • @BeMarvelous

Not bad for her age, eh?

  • @KingOfParrots "I am a dog, yes please?"

  • @G666leSh666le Why should you care?

  • "Poof! Cinq!" I love that!

  • The video description's bad translation is...tres drole.

  • This is so funny lol.

"l'academie! a la tâche presque impossible!"

  • poof.. cinq...lmao.. Simple and effective translation!

"to give the winn to" i think in english i think

  • @bouelf Hahahahah ça veut dire nominer

  • @Elldarya

winnowing = faire le tri parmi ...

  • @Elldarya
