I don't see how the compression of the water by the prop and resulting energy being turned into heat/sound (cavitation) would have resulted in the deaths of the divers. But I'm sure impressed that you learnt this word watching Hunt for Red October and found the time to use it here...

Well, I'll say this much, the director and camera man needed a bit more practice. There's definately an amatuerish quality to this that could be fixed by better camera work and better angles.
