  • I have a few questions:

    1. Can i still use the dvd drive to play regular games?

    2. Do i need to have a disc (any disc) in there for it to work?

    3. If i turn on using the remote i can play games from the emulator just by ejecting the dvd drive and going to the video app? Or can i just turn it on normally and do that aswell?

    Thanks, Danz207

  • Ooooo-fuck nice!

  • does this work with xbox 360 isos from torrents???

  • so it just reads the game from harddrive? and you dont actually need to insert your disk, am i correct?

  • Looks good, only problem with me getting one is My xbox slim is only a month old (worried about opening it with, voiding warrantry) also it has the latest dashboard. other than that looks good another step towards my Disc free life.

I currently have a soft modded wii, that plays from a hard drive and a a server that streams Films and Music.

  • love this I have everything working perfect But one small niggling problem ... I can't get it to play movie ISO's the only folder I can browse via my xk3y remote, iso menu or wireless web interface is the GAMES. Any tips on setting up custom folder names and Movie folder so that it reads.

    thanks

  • does xk3y play games downloaded from torrent sites ?

  • @brendonmccullumsoul Yes. You just download those to the hard drive.

  • @mattboyd2645 no such thing as a slim jatg dude never was. If your talking about the xbox reset glitch it is completely different.

  • lol, Flashing is no safer online than this. atleast with this updating and no disc is a major positive

  • can you play on live with this?

  • @xBlue741 yes but will get banned quick

  • @mattboyd2645 lol is it safer to just flash my xbox instead?

  • @xBlue741 wait til LT+ 3.0 comes or get a slim jtag

  • @mattboyd2645 I haven't been banned yet hitachi 79 with xk3y been playign online untouched from day 1 of xk3y

  • @xBlue741 Yea you can

  • question: how do you load up your isos through the video library menu? i can only get it to load through the picture library menu. when i go into video library, i drill down through the folders and select the game, but i don't get a message saying "ISO selected, open tray to proceed". i just get a blank box.

  • The mixed media disk doesnt work for me. I do it exactly like this and it does fuck all. Is there something extra I need to put on the hdd? like fuck, there is no manual n shit for this thing.

  • How do you set up the games so they show a picture of the game when you go to picture library, mine just shows general folder icons.

  • Anybody plz , will the xk3y work with cracked xbox 360 ?

  • @brendonmccullumsoul as in flashed? yes.

  • @Cdek654 Thanks Bro : ) so more people buy 360 instead of ps3 unless sony comes out with something like that.sorry for wrong english in the last line previous comment.

  • anybody plz ,with this will xbox 360 4gb run downloaded games ?

i mean like download games from net in iso format in your hdd and connect it to the xk3y .no need for partion of hdd ?i mean xbox stuff and laptop data in the same hdd or will it require only xbox 360 content in an 1 whole external drive?

  • @brendonmccullumsoul Yes for the downloaded games, and I believe as long as games (iso's) are in the 'games' folder, they will work with xk3y

  • i wnat too see more online and talk more about if its safe

  • Question:

Forza 4 is asking to eject disc 1 and insert game disc 2 (to install disc 2).

How can I do this ?

  • @xxgg

you have to press the eject button on your xbox360 TWICE (!). then you can choose the second disc, but only on the x360key remote. its not possible to change disc with the onscreen-features as presented in this video!

  • @ccata77

I am sorry... eject button? do you mean dvd tray open button?

I am using 1.06 with ISOmenu.

  • @xxgg

yes of course the dvd tray open button. but you HAVE to use the x360key remote!! after pressing the dvd tray open button the display of the x360key remote changes to the games list, where you can choose the 2nd disc of forza 4. it only works with the x360key romote and NOT with the ISOmenu, so choose with the buttons on the x360key remote. You have to stay in game doing this. never leave the game with the guide button on your xbox360 remote, so don't press it!

  • does it play blue-ray iso?

  • you sounds exactly like Edward Norton!

  • why doesnt mine say mixed media disc i av an xternal hard drive with a folder called Games on it with the games in folders inside although right now i only have 3 games on it mine just says open tray or close tray any help m8 thx

  • @dpcragg2011 You need to copy the xkey.cfg file to your hard drive. Edit the xkey.cfg so that MENUISO=N reads MENUISO=Y. Start up your Xbox and the xk3y should update. Then reset and you should have the feature. It will only work in picture library for me though.
