@Zscheesus Apparently he did not fit in with Mike Martz's offensive system...Martz's system doesn't rely much on a "receiving" tight end like Greg Olsen and instead on tight ends mainly for blocking and developing the running game. So, they traded him to Carolina for pretty much nothing. Not a good choice in my eyes

@bs20sanders You are an idiot. Just last weekend Terrell Thomas walked off the field with a torn ACL. He is done for the year. I guess he is a quitter too then. I sprained my MCL once. I was able to stand and walk about 10 minutes later. However, if I tried to plant and change direction I could feel the joint losing stability i.e. there was lateral movement in the knee. Just pisses me off people calling this guy a quitter when that is far from the truth.

I was sick of all the draws up the middle to Forte on 3rd and 22 when it NEVER worked. All of his play calling was extremley predictable. Sometimes he would call an end around to a receiver only to lose yardage. I remember a 2nd and goal from like the 4 against the Browns and he called a reverse to Hester. The play lost like 7 yards and we had to settle for 3. Hester also got hurt.
actually if you want to bring up the hester experiment. turner was the one recruiting hester to join his offense from day one. Turner NEVER utilized hester correctly. Hester does not match up well against number one defensive backs who are much taller than him. He is supposed to be in the slot like wes welker and create matchup nightmares against linebackers. Turner is a complete dolt.

Yes, the short passes open up the long ones but Turner is calling way too many short passes. We have no running game at this time....again, the long passes would make up alot of yards that our running game isn`t producing
i agree with you on short passes open the big throws...but they didnt let him lose until he was already down against the packers.....he threw 1 pick to a fat ass d-lineman that got lucky and came up with it and another one came from one of his wr's not on the same page with him....so he will have over 4000 passin yards if not very close to it.....he will get his big passs in with out a int!
I agree playcalling was terrible especially on first down it set them up for long 3rd downs... ILL- INI.... they need to turn it around the juice is sour
