  • A month or so ago, the soft close on the front two stopped working. I got some help from mbworld and I am now told that the PSE pump will stop working for certain components of the vehicle when it starts to die out. I just got a new pump installed and got the doors to work again. Also, you may want to try to reset the fuse for the pump.

  • Try taking the batteries out overnight and putting them back on in the morning. It worked when I wanted to fix my broken soft close feature on the doors.

  • Just an idea: maybe the latch on the boot is in the "lock" position. btw WHAT AN AWESOME CAR!!!!!!!!! U MUST BE A HIT WITH THE GIRLS MAN!!!! :D

  • Hey, I got a similar problem on my S500. The trunk does unlock from the door button and the remote. But my issue is, it does not fully close. The red air hose supplies the air for that white actuator that supposed to initialize secondary closing of the trunk. Basically it is not getting sucked fully closed like the doors do. Thanks for your help,
