I had a 350z, so i respect the Datsun. I now own a 08 Roush 427R and a 07 GSXR 750, but in this video, i wanna say fuck both of them ! That supercharger whine from that assuming to be a 03-04 cobra is just orgasmic :D

ok,,, ive owned a couple GSXRs,, i owned an 01 750, and an 01 1000,, i never dragged the 1k, but my 750 ran mid 10s at 130+ in the 1/4... STOCK,, so for this little Datsun to hang as good as it did with a gsxr750 means its one FAST fuckin car,, nice ride man,, VERY impressive

I live in Nashville, TN. The 240 is @ my cousins just a little over halfway towards Knoxville from Nashville.

I did consider doing a V8 swap, but it would have been a 327 retrofitted with TPI and a T56 tranny. The short stroke of a 327 would allow it ridiculous rpms...by FAR my fave SBC ever.

But to do a successful swap, would require too much unibody gusseting/reinforcement, whereas a high revving/low TQ RB would not.

I raced a GSXR750 in my 302W powered 240Z and beat it over about 1250 metres a few years back. The rider gave me a big thumbs up at the end and was genuinely surprised I caught and passed him. Great fun!
