Motorola DROID w/ Android 2.1

What i´d like to see in Android 2.1 is an aplication to switch through running programs like the one in Nokia N900. (yes, i know N900 uses Maemo as its OS, but still)

2: I was messing around with a DROID at a Verison store and it had the "Pinch" feature. Is this an Android 2.1 specialty or something?

Thats just a home replacement app..... The droid with 2.1 didnt get the 3d launcher, and the 4 dots at the bottom is Nexus One only. Also, no live wallpapers.

fyi - 2.1 would be an update.zip and not a .apk file...

hayy the launcher that gives yu the lil screen samples and the 3d app box. ? doses that still work bc its not wurkn on my moto droid. is their a new updated link?

No it doesnt, uninstall and delete it. Download Helix Launcher 2. Gives you the same things. =)

Question: At :55 there is a home screen I see again and again with this big calendar and sun display that takes up the top third of the screen, that I do not like. Can this be removed?

What are the options native to android 2.1 for configuring the desktop? Thanks!

Yes you can take anything off the homescreens it can be blank if you want. Go with ANdroid. If youre with Verizon get the new Incredible. If youre with Sprint wait for the EVO, If youre with Tmo wait for the Samsung Galaxy or Mytouch Slide. Get a Nexus One with Att.

@sotovo i personally love my droid. it is very customizable, unlike the iphone. you can change just about anything on it. i learned all i need to know about working the droid from typing in stuff like "droid tutorial", "droid tips", and "droid features" in youtube. it really helps with everything. i pretty much learned how to use the droid from youtube :D

This isn't the real update so no live wallpapers. Its just an app that gives you some of the 2.1 features. Official 2.1 OTA update is rumored for Friday 22nd.
