As much as I hate what conservatives stand for, I think this is completely uncalled for. A GED is very important and at least they're TAKING CHARGE of their education and getting a GED. That's something they don't have to do but does anyway. It shows commitment.

It is a proven fact that those who have a high school diploma or a GED make significantly more money over their lifetime than those without. Aside from the fact that it is much harder to even obtain a job without a diploma or GED.

OK jessiann120, I did some time in the Navy a while ago. Believe me, much of what they teach you in the Navy doesn't transfer over to civilan life very well. When you get out of the service, especially in this economy, you will probaly be serving me French fries. Yummy
